Good point..That's interesting, the 19th, 26 and 2nd are all Tuesdays. I wonder if Verizon is purposely holding inventory for mass shipments or trying to restrict shipping to Tuesdays only? I'm probably reaching but you have to admit it's a little odd especially since every store and carrier has been getting shipments from Apple multiple times a week.

Regardless, I have no choice but to wait see what happens on the 12th. Nothing I do is speeding up this process right? Lol

It's possible they just pick Tuesday's for no reason. It's possible they know exactly what they're doing. It's possible they have no clue.
 
If Verizon assigned phone shipment priority based on the number of times one checked their order status mine would have shipped about 8 years ago. I need help. I have a problem.

Plus the iUP at Apple has a hard credit check. I can't justify the credit ding for a few days. It's not like it'd hurt me, its high enough, but just seems like I'd be letting my wait get the best of me. lol.

As of my most recent OCD check I'm still showing 10/12 on my 64GB Silver Plus.

On the T-Mobile thread, they are able to kinda get ahead of the ball by looking up their order on UPS using their phone number as a reference. That way they can catch whether their order ships well before it shows on tmobile's site. I think that Verizon uses fedex, but would our phone number also be the "reference" used?
 
The part that drives me the most nuts is I'm going Edge, port in, so I can't even see if it hits my card as I have 0 up front cost...lol. I just have to wait for tracking.

More confusion on business account. First order on 9/25-One rep told me that is scheduled to ship on 10/14. My business rep said that order was canceled when they put in another order on 10/1. They tell me that order is expected to ship towards end of month. So somehow they screwed my by putting in another order. Asked about jumping line. Rep said he would have to send request to his supervisor but basically said it wouldn't happen. At this point I am done giving a ****. If it isn't here by holloween then I will check into it. I have come to the conclusion the reps are either incompetent or there to placate the situation. The only fact I can confirm is being proactive has pushed my order back further.

My business rep told me orders ship two days a week. I think he said Friday and Tuesday. Don't take this as gospel by any means.

I feel you. But I'm not on business account. Pre ordered 9/21 and ultimately it's due to ship 11/2 due to a system error that forced them to reorder. Should have had by now.

For what its worth, my wife's 6S shipped on a Monday early morning.
 
Yeah but the 6S phones have been in stock for a bit. They ship normal orders daily, but it seems the bulk orders for newly arrived units seem to go out in chunks. Probably since they're so backordered all stock gets scanned, and immediately allocated to orders.

I'm curious whether the amount of 6S Plus being ordered is exceeding expectations. I know I would have never purchased a 6 plus, but after getting used to them being around and trying them out, it was a no brainer for me. I know they were back ordered last year for much longer.
 
My order status says that they will be shipped to the store, but I was told they would be shipped to my house. Can anyone comment on this without me calling them again?
 
If you get a 16GB you will reget it.

I did not preorder right when it came up. Instead I sent my friend's husband a text a little past 8am est (VW rep) and asked him to preorder a space grey and rose gold in 16gb. He didn't get back to me right away but then called me to say that when I first texted him, they were backordered but then the stock refreshed and he was able to get both with delivery dates of 9/25.

Just rechecked mine and it's being shipped home (whenever it finally ships). When I ordered over the phone, they said ship to store wasn't an option. Could have just been my rep being lazy tho

I read that demand was high but I don't think it's as high as it was last yr. i do remember it being out of stock for min back then however...damnit I just want my phone!!! Lol
 
Guy in the ATT 6s+ thread just got a shipping notice for his 64gb space grey 6s plus after ordering 2 days ago. This is honestly very disheartening. I "preordered" my Verizon 64gb 6s plus, also in space grey, on September 21st and have yet to move from processing. What's going on Verizon?
 
Keep in mind that the CDMA version, and GSM version are two different models (well more if you count the carrier variances). While the insides are probably damn near identical (not sure if the CDMA voice / EVDO exists, honestly, in the GSM version but i assume they do and its just software/firmware variances) they have different setups initially. As VZN/SPRINT are the only CDMA carriers now a days most likely the stock isn't being pumped out as high capacity with that enabled feature set. The rest of the carriers sit on the GSM spectrum, and probably get the bulk of distribution.

At least that's my thought.
