Called Verizon today to ask an unrelated question and also asks about if they know when my 64gb SG plus would ship. 10/12 ship by date. The rep (incredibly helpful) said that they have a shipment prepped to ship out tomorrow via FedEx, so charges would appear on cards today and tomorrow. She has been receiving lots of calls asking.

I sure hope so, as Verizon and my bank likely think there is some attempt at fraud against my accounts based on the number of times I've checked my order status or bank account to see if my account has been debited ;)

She seemed 100% certain. Did not even need to check, as lots have called about a 10/12 ship by date.

That's great news! I hope it's true. I'm trying to schedule my work from home days so that I can sign for the packages but these delivery dates are making it difficult to predict.
 
How did they screw you and how did you get it??

Ordered at the store on the 17th. 3 weeks later, and one week before it's initial delivery date (the date changed from 10/14 to "Unavailable at this time", but I was assured everything looked fine). About 3 weeks after the order was made, I'm watching all these people talk about how they ordered the same models as me, days past my order date, and they're getting theirs delivered already. Mine hasn't even shown any sign of preparing for shipment. Support doesn't know what's wrong with the order, but that something is wrong and they direct me to the store I ordered from. They can't open the order and see anything.


I didn't want to let go, after seeing some people talk about how they were about to cancel, and things suddenly changed. I finally ended up cancelling it.

I check the Apple store's online inventory system for 4 days in a row. No luck. I'm looking for at least 128 GB. I wanted gold, but, at that point, I was willing to take any color. Alas, there were either no 128 GB's anywhere, or there was one color, in one store, very far away.

Friday comes, and I decided to just start calling any place that sold phones. The Target nearby sells phones, so I decide to call. I had been monitoring their stock online, and saw no Verizon models in stock. Decided to call anyways. Lo and behold, they had every 128 GB model. 10 minutes later, I'm there. 20 minutes after that, I'm out with mine. Went back Saturday morning, to get the second phone from my order (Couldn't do it on Friiday). Although I got the last 128 GB Space Gray, they still had more 128's and other configurations.

So, I'd really suggest you start looking around in random places. The first day I went to that Target, they told me they had barely sold any. Second day, there were still some in stock.

I had a ship date of 10/12 for one of my iPhone 6s+ 64gb gold, checked my bank account today and card finally got charged at 8 AM! I didn't have an update on Verizon order status until probably 12:30 pm, expected delivery date is on Wednesday. Hopefully everyone else get charged too! Now just gotta wait for my 11/2 6s+ to charge haha
 
Hold on to your butts people.....just got off the phone with my buddy who didn't listen to me after my verizn issue and ordered in store...6s plus 64gb....Scheduled ship date tomorrow.

His order was canceled by verizon due to a 'glitch' the rep's word. He could reorder, but will be placed in the back of the line...said perhaps a early november delivery.

Wasn,t credit card or anything like that, just a internal issue that canceled his order.

Wow! If my husband's 64g sg plus doesn't ship tomorrow as planned, then Im checking Target as well. I completely forgot about them.

My Best Buy had my phone, but since they can't port a number into an existing account I couldn't grab it. AHHHHHH!

No worries. I've waited this long, and ultimately a few more days isn't a huge deal... but it was literally 6" in front of me for a moment. lol.
 
Ordered my RG 6s+ on the 30th with expected ship date of 11/2. I have no patience however, so checked constantly for other options. Got lucky and last Friday found on apples site that the store an hour away had that exact model in stock. I reserved a time and that reserved the phone. I cancelled with Verizon before I left to get my new one. Easy as pie to get the phone and hook up to apples new plan of new phone every year, and this also includes the AppleCare. Loving it so far

Heard the same thing happened to a few other people in here, and my order wasn't cancelled, but it couldn't be processed any further.

This is why I'm going to end up just buying from the Apple Store next time. It's messed up that we do things right and things get messed up on their side, but we suffer the consequences.

Pre Ordered 9/21. Same happened. I'm looking at November.

So those with the 10/12 expected ship date, cards charged and/or shipping notice? I have not. Fyi, I ordered on 9/27 a Silver 6s+ 64GB and a RG 6s 64GB.

Might as well chime in...

9/25 order date for a 128GB Silver with a 10/12 expected ship date.

Still no charge on the card or anything new on the order status page.

My wife's 128GB Gold was ordered on the first night of preorders, and we received it by UPS (actually I picked it up from UPS).

Still have a pre order confirmation number not an actual order number. Status is still the same as the day I ordered.

They couldn't add a line to my existing account. That's what I needed. I already have an account, and porting my number into it (my wife already is on VZN)

Oh is it that particular store or is it your wife has a specialty plan? I add lines in BB more than the Verizon corporate store.

no charge or shipment notification. My "pre-order confirmation" page is still the same...ordered 9/28 SG 64 GB Plus

I didn't know about there being stock issues until I got excited today that my order would ship tomorrow. Bummer.
