Verizon.com: Preorder thread

I noticed early this morning that it left the sorting facility and was at my local facility. Called Fedex and asked if they were 100% sure that it is being delivered tomorrow, and then said yes. They were even condescending about it. 30min later, my tracking says out for delivery. Had to leave work and drive back home just so that I could be here to sign for it.

Moral of story - Fedex reps don't know sh--. Check the tracking and if it's at the sorting facility, expect it to deliver next day, if not the same day. Hopefully it arrives today and you can get it.

I wish! My tracking is vague at best. The last update it shows is from fedex is:

Arrived at FedEx location

LEWISBERRY, PA

That was 9:21pm on Friday. I am near Toledo OH, so the trip from PA to Northwood OH, where the hub is isn't a long trip. I wish fedex would update where my phone is.

What did your fedex tracking look like? I feel like mine should be delivered today considering it was just going from PA to OH but my tracking info hasn't updated past Friday night.

I haven't gotten ANY updates since Friday from Fedex. Hope its not just chilling in PA. Maybe they just haven't updated my tracking info Online.
 
Anybody know how to decipher, or if there's much meaning behind the location codes? I've got: D503001.
 
Soooo Sunday (yesterday) afternoon my husband gets an email about my order from Verizon saying something about the payment not being accepted and i needed to respond within 7 days or it would be cancelled. I immediately called and spoke to a nice lady who accepted new payment because my card wasn't going thru! (freak out moment) Finally it was accepted and she said i should wait for further details by email on the shipment info.... and i waited.. and waited and nothing! So it's Monday and log on for the umpteenth time this morning and finally i SEE SHIPMENT DETAILS!!!

I ordered late 9-20 for the 6s Plus in Rose Gold 64GB... my first iPhone ever after a long run with crappy droids! My expected due date was 11/2 with no budge! So you can see why i'm so excited! My delivery should be here Wednesday!!!

I just wanted to share in case someone had a similar order date and expect due date. Bc i hadn't seen many with my same scenario as of yet!

My 64GB Silver Plus still shows todays date, but nothing has hit my bank and it still says processing. So we shall see. No "sorry" type message on the preorder, or site login, pages yet.
 
Same here....ordered sg plus 64gb on 9/24. No change in weeks. Still says in preorder in process. Order status says DELIVER by 10/12 and yet no change or shipping notification.
 
Ordered through website on 9/25 with expected ship date of 10/12. Black (Yea, I know, space gray :)) 6s+ 64gb

Today through the link in my confirmation email the status changed from 'We received your order and it is pending' to 'in process'. No charge to my card though and no other update.
 
A little lengthy but may provide "some" hope.

Still no charge on my card. I spoke to the same VZW Rep that I spoke with last Friday and she said it was odd that I did not get charged over the weekend because they typically charge 48 hours before ship date just in case they have payment issues that need to be corrected. She said that my order still showed business as usual and I "should" see a charge with shipping info later this evening/tonight. She also said that typically if they attempted to charge the card it would show in the notes and there was no alert for an attempt to charge my card. She said that the RG plus was shipping really fast ahead of due dates but there were a lot of SG plus in queue with no movement. She also stated that there was no alert of my order being pushed to a later date due to back stock.

Spoke to a really sweet girl when I called Verizon just now and she actually tried to find out what was going on with the order although she ultimately could not say why it had not shipped yet.

Ended up giving me 2 options, cancel and re-enter the order (I told her no), or wait and see if the status changes and it ships sometime this week. So looks like we'll be waiting...

What's most interesting to me is that Verizon reps have different answers regarding card charges and shipments. The rep I spoke to last night said the charge can happen any time, even the day it ships.

The good news is that most of us are waiting with a 10/12 date. It's not as if one or two have seen movement.

I guess misery loves company! I was originally hoping it'd ship early, then on time, and now I'm hopeful sometime this week.
