It sounds more and more like reps kind of color in between the lines with what they say about shipments and timing. I can't imagine they actually know much with how conflicting they can be.

Geez FedEx tracking is literally horrible. It's supposed to be here today, but they do not update at all.

I guess I've only used fedex twice, and both times were a bad experience. I've never had a problem with USPS, but then again I've never tracked with them. I've always use UPS and I feel their tracking is the best. Pretty much updates when the driver goes pee or gets fast food..
 
Update:

My card just got charged this evening. I also got the estimated ship date of 10/12 and the email for the 10/19 delay.

Looks like many of the orders placed on 9/25 and 9/26 have been seeing movement, which is great. I'm hoping the string of 9/27 orders follow that same day or two behind trend, which would mean it could have potential to ship today. I grow nervous once again, though, reading about others having continued woes with their payment information. The same thing happened to me when I placed my original order, hence having to do so again on the 27th. I don't like having to watch things like a hawk in order to ease my nerves soooo...crossing everything for nothing but smooth sailing.

I've got a pending charge on my account for the device ordered on the 25th at 7am central time for the 64gb space grey 6s plus but Verizon still says they've reason information and its in process, same thing it's been saying since day one. Still no change in status or email information.

Got the same thing this morning. Verizon shows shipped and FedEx tracking number is already working. I should also receive my phone on Friday.

Got a bit of a scare. About 30 minutes ago got my email from Verizon. However, it showed only one phone having been shipped. :-(

Now I just received a second email with a different tracking number from FedEx Delivery Manager. :)

The two phones are in two packages. Wife's 6s 64GB and my 6s+ 64GB. Gave wife the choice but she wants the smaller phone for her pocket. As a teacher, she is required to have a phone with her at all times in case of active shooter, etc.

I ordered my 6+ RG 128gb on 10/9. Expected delivery by 11/2. I'm moving to Verizon from ATT. Hoping to get it sooner than expected date. Also I just want to let anyone who is considering ATT know hat their customer service has gone downhill. Wait times just to talk to someone is an hour +!! Chat is quicker, but generally gets you no where.

Waaaaahhhhhhhhhhoooooooooo phone has been shipped! 6s+ space gray 64 gb. Ordered 9/25, original ship date of 10/12. Was changed to 10/19 late that day. Now to be delivered 10/16
 
I feel like this is the Season Finale of "As the Preorder ships: Sponsored by Verizon Wireless" and everyone is finally getting phones.

Was on my 6S+ all last night setting things up, and forgot how much I like some of the integration / infrastructure of IOS.

Husband's fedex tracking updated. His phone will deliver Friday. Finally, this entire process is almost over.

2 6s+ ordered 9/25 Orig deliv date 10/12

gold 64gb - shipped early on 10/8
sg 64gb - date moved from 10/12 to 10/19, but shipped 10/13

Now I can actually enjoy my phone :)

I finally got a shipping notice from Fedex (not Verizon). But in the time it's taken to get the order shipped, I've:
-Been pissed off by Verizon on the phone 2 times
-Been lied to by Verizon on the phone at least twice
-Experienced terrible communication from Verizon consistently
-Had my order jacked up by Verizon's terrible order processing systems
-Gotten interested in the sim-free version with band 30 LTE support

Hmm..
 
Say, anyone else in a scenario where they are upgrading their phone on a 2 year contract renewal? I'm one of the few (or so it seems) at this point who is on a legacy plan and have retained that option for the time being. Just wondering if that might somehow compound my/similar situations. I wonder if those on the Device Payment option had a smoother transaction with there not being as much, if any, to charge or if it even makes a difference at all.

Fedex Overnight and 2nd day are great while fake fedex the ground and home delivery are another story all together
