Question...Is there a way to have Fed Ex leave package without signature? I registered on their webpage and do not see an option as of yet. Thanks

Just got tracking information for iPhone 6s Plus Gold 128GB ordered on October 1st. Original delivery date was 10/26 but will be here Friday 
Husband's fedex tracking updated. His phone will deliver Friday. Finally, this entire process is almost over.
2 6s+ ordered 9/25 Orig deliv date 10/12
gold 64gb - shipped early on 10/8
sg 64gb - date moved from 10/12 to 10/19, but shipped 10/13
Now I can actually enjoy my phone

Right there with you. I ordered only a day earlier. Rather, ordered over again due to a mishap the first time.
Leave a note on the door with tracking number and your signature and they should leave it. If your shipping info says "indirect signature required" then that means you can leave a note as stated above but if it says "direct signature required" then I believe someone has to be present to sign for it. I did this last year and they left it without a problem. If you want them to put it in a particular place, I would note that on the note you are leaving for them. They can pretty much put it anywhere but a mailbox. Hope this helps.

My card was charged last night 9/26 order 64g SG. Hopefully that means shipping today! I wish that would mean getting it for the weekend but more than likely I'll have to wait for Monday.
Checked my local Apple Store moments ago. They had my model of choice in stock so I reserved it and a time slot later this afternoon. If all goes as it should, I will cancel my online pre order (still no updates on that front) and hopefully that will be all!
There might be some good news for all of you in Nevergonnagetmyphone land (Sorry folks this Island is Neverland's step Island - We get Hank Pan and Stankerbell). Yesterday morning I checked my status as I do every morning and my date had gone from 10/26 to 10/28. A little disappointed but at this point what's 2 more days. But guess what... later that day I got my shipment notification. So I'm pretty sure Verizon has no idea when they're getting stock and when it will ship. Be patient all... the end is near.

Still waiting on my 64gb 6s+ space gray. Original expected ship date was 10/12. At this point I'm just hoping that it does ship out on Its new expected ship date of 10/19 and it doesn't get pushed back again.
If it doesn't ship on Monday I might cancel the order and try the 128gb model since more people seem to be getting that one sooner.

I was SO close to doing the IUP and canceling my order. I shall have patience and not spend more money at the cost of getting a phone today. I had the 6s Plus I want in my hand and it felt so good! Lol #patience #preorderdiaries #pointlesshashtags
If you're wanting to go with the monthly, but not deal with the IUP. Check out things like Target, Best Buy, etc.
I was waiting, too, without a charge on Tuesday. So I looked up various places, and saw Target had "low stock" reported at the one by my in laws. So I called them up, and they held the phone for me. I walked in, ported in from T-Mobile, walked out with 290 bucks in Target cards (awesome, cause my wife loves that place) and another 100 coming into Verizon for porting in from another carrier. Signed up for the Verizon monthly, and was in/out quickly.
If you go to http://preorder.verizonwireless.com (copy/paste, don't click... people report the site redirects you on a click) you can put in your pre-order number, and last name, and cancel your existing order online.
Whole process was super easy, and I walked out with my 64GB SILVER Plus.
Probably because by default they advertise the AppleCare+ included price. I think you can get it without it, though. My gripe is the hard credit check they do. It just seems silly to ding someone for an iPhone.
