Same for me !! Checked my Verizon and tracking info was there. I order gold 6s plus 128gb right 3:00am eastern on 9/12. Mines is in Memphis Tenn. I live in GA. Its scheduled for next day deliver on the 25th by 3pm. I'm going to call tomorrow to see if they can hold for pickup.
How do you schedule a delivery time slot?
When I ordered the phone I wanted to pay extra and have it delivered by 10:30am (priority overnight) but it didn't give me the option, or at least in my rush to order I didn't see it. Mine is sitting in Newark (a thirty minute drive away) and says it will be delivered by 8pm on the 25th. I would really rather not spend all Friday sitting at home waiting.

I ordered my 6s 128GB is Space Gray on 9/15 and I was charged yesterday and got my tracking number today. I paid extra so I could get my device delivered by FedEx by 10:30am on Friday, I don't want to be sitting at home all day long.
Seems like the general pattern is card charged, 24 hours later tracking # is given.
Not exactly where it is (as I don't have a page in front of me), but it says something like customize delivery. You have to pay $5, but if you aren't going to be home all day (or just want it ASAP), I think $5 is worth it. The slots are like 10a-12p, 12p-2p, etc. (obviously depending on your area as well)
Is there any particular pattern to those that already have gotten their tracking numbers (other than being charged and 24 hours later getting tracking)? Is it a particular color and/or model being shipped first? Or perhaps location, such as east coast before west coast orders?
Yes it certainly did, I was in the same boat as you and didn't receive anything other than the pre order confirmation and link in my email to view order status via Verizon's website. Normally when a charge is processed on your account that is when it ships. Mine is in Memphis currently. It probably takes several hours to a day to possibly update after a label is printed for your devices package.
The order status link on the verizon website does not work for my account type, all I have is the preorder website. Im hoping that since they charged my card that it already shipped and they are playing catch up with the tracking number emails. I will see in 4 hours when it is 24 hours after the charge.
Our phones are probably huddled up together! Mine is also in Memphis making its way to Newark to most likely be held at the FedEx facility till the 24th then overnight to Long Island. It's happening!!
It's not giving me the option. I can see it but where it says "customize delivery" its grayed out and I can't click on it.
Did you get an order # or pre order confirmation number with a location ID? If you plug in that info you should be able to view your current status.
Can you tell me how you did that? I have that info....

Yes it does. And its not just hours, its days after. With the limited stock on some models it adds more stress.....
It happens every year. There isn't any transparency in the process so we will never know why. I am going to just try and put the preorder page away until Wednesday. If I haven't heard anything by then I'll start to get anxious.
That's a good idea. Verizon will get the phone to you when they get the phone to you (for most of us, that's 9/25).
Even if you have a tracking # the only thing you can do with it is watch the phone sit in the warehouse.
