Verizon.com: Preorder thread

Mine shipped too and is in Newark as well, I'm not far from Newark. Anyone know if you can pre-sign for delivery, similar to how Apple had a form you could print out from their site to pre-sign if you weren't going to be home? It's the first iPhone (iPhone 6s Plus) I've ordered from a carrier, original iPhone through my about to be replaced 6 was through Apple.

Does anyone know if Verizon allows something similar? Thanks in advance!

Anyone having luck searching FedEx with reference numbers? I search with order number, location number, preorder number, cell phone number, but nothing. I have a 128GB 6s+ on the way, it'll be here Friday, but no shipping info as of yet, so I was just curious because reference numbers are how I used to find my phone before Apple sent shipping confirmations.

You usually can. Just go to the shipping carriers website. If it's UPS then you might have to create an account. Sometimes the feature is unavailable until one or two days before actual arrival.

Same situation with me. I checked my order status two days ago and it said deliver by 9/25. Now it displays deliver by 9/19. Very odd that is changed on the order status page on Verizon's website alone as I still have yet to receive tracking info or even a "preparing for shipment" status change.

Did you do a trade in with your order? I did, and my trade in return boxes came usps. In the shipping confirmation email, it listed the product as "DEVICE TRADE IN RECOV".

So, possible that that shipment is for your empty trade in box, and your phone may be in a different shipment fedex as usual?
 
I have not gotten an email about shipment but when I log into my verizon it shows my phone has shipped and a tracking number. The tracking number shows the Phone is in Memphis TN (one state away) with a future overnight delivery to occur on 9/24.

I wonder if FedEx or UPS workers ever get their phone early :)

Maybe they process them in location batches. I JUST checked and I now have tracking, and it is sitting in Memphis as well. No shipping email, but they did email me to verify my email address (new customer) at the same time the tracking info appeared.

well this is crazy. I ordered mine launch night on VZW.com at roughly 11:55 6s Plus 128 gig silver. My order is pending. I ordered the wife phone 12 hours later 6S 128 gig white. She now has a tracking number and its in Memphis. Where is mine!!! lol
 
I'm a preordering newbie (and loving it so far!)

I'm switching from my droid turbo over to a pink 6s+. I had to get 16GB this time around due to a tight budget, but I'm hoping to trade in and upgrade to a 7 64GB next year.

Anyway, I preordered a few mins before 3am EST on 9/12. My expected delivery date is the 25th and I can't wait any longer. I'm dying to get my hands on it! (I've already ordered a case and a screen protector...oops)

Is anyone else's order still sitting at pending? Not sure what pending means, but I'd like my tracking number ASAP so I can schedule a delivery time slot with FedEx for Friday
 
FINALLY checked out my order status at 10:30 am and it displays a tracking number with FEDEX being the courier (high five). I ordered on Saturday at 8:30am eastern time. iPhone 6s plus silver 64gb. Didn't receive an email on shipping info though but it's all good I've been checking every hour. I guess you can call it excitement!

Its the only one I can check. I ordered just before midnight and yesterday at 1PM my card was charged.

Im hoping I get the tracking number today.
