I haven't preordered through VZW before, in fact haven't bought a phone from them in many, many years. I did this time and got my confirmation email at 2:55am for 9/25 delivery date. I chose the device payment option and was charged the tax. Has anyone seen the tax charge hit their account yet because I have not. I know with ordering from Apple.com, they charge you when your device ships so it does not hit until closer to the delivery date. Anyone with experience know if this is the norm ordering through VZW?

I preordered through Verizon Saturday Morning; they offered me $200 trade in on my old iPhone 5-32GB.

I would have ordered through Apple, but they would only give me $90 under the recycle program, so it was no brainer to order through Verizon.

Preorder Confirmation: 1308525XXXX50101
Order Date: 09/12/2015
Deliver By: 09/25/2015

That said, my order shows nothing about my trade in, and when I called, they said I had to file after I receive the 6S, and the trade in offer is good till Oct 15th.

I'm kind of concerned Verizon will screw something up with the trade.

Do any of you guys plan to trade?

m

How did you get 200 for your iphone 5 through verizon?

I'm not sure if you have a business account with Verizon or not, but I have a regular account and I see both of them in the "My Orders" page. Do you think I'm fine? I mean I have confirmation emails and my phones are still registered in my account, my phones also cannot be upgraded since I used them so it shows that the order went through I think.

My account is a huge (thousands of people nationwide). I can see ALL the orders as they go through. As of now, mine still has not appeared and only about 20 or 30 6s orders show up. With the Samsung phones came out you could see hundreds in a couple hours.

My line still shows eligible for upgrade. But I know from previous orders this does not disappear until I get the new phone.

The only thing I have that is definite is the order confirmation just before midnight, the preorder status page, and the email from a B2B supervisor giving me the same information. He assured me that my order is at the front of the line and will be delivered on the 25th.

I just felt better with the apple.com preorders. You could see your completed order right away and you know if it gave a delivery date, then you would get it then.

Not having that option anymore (the deal we get is really great), I set myself up for being mad that somehow my order wont show up.

I had to order by phone since Im switching from AT&T and couldn't get my government employee discount rate to work on the website. Trading in an iPhone 5 and a 5c under current promo for $200 each plus $100 per line that I'm porting over. Got my order squared away around 11am est saturday and was told both new phones will deliver 9/25. Both are 6S (4.7"), one space gray and one rose gold.

Hey everyone! First time posting here. Been lurking on these boards for several years and just now decided to sign up. I have been an iPhone owner since pretty much the beginning.

Preordered on 9/12 @ approx. 1:57am central time. iPhone 6s 64 GB Space Grey. Got confirmation email about 2-3 minutes later. Expected delivery on 9/25. I had to make my qualifying payment to upgrade to new phone, plus some taxes and fees. I assume those won't post on my bank account until the phone ships..

How were you able to preorder before the official preorder start time? Guess I got screwed for thinking that 12:01 pst was truly the start time.

I guess I just got lucky lol. Just kept refreshing the order page and then it popped up about 1:50. Took me about 5 minutes or so to finish it. Last year when I pre-ordered, I didn't get my order completed until 3am.

A little off topic but does anyone know if I can add a "dummy" line to my account to get the 6s? Me and the wife just got new phones on edge last month and I thought I could do without the 6s, I was wrong lol. Is my only option to pay the balance on my current phone to upgrade or can a dummy line be done?

I started my order on the Verizon site at about 11:54pm. Got all the way to check out and it seemingly forgot I was logged in and wanted me to create a new account.

I logged out and started over and was able to finish my order of 1 64gb space gray 6S Plus and 1 64gb silver 6S by about 12:05am. I went for the payment plan vs contract or full price.

My confirmation with delivery on both phones by 9/25 was delivered about 12:08am.

Apple Store App nor website worked at all for me well past 12:01.

That would be frustrating if that happened to me. Glad you were able to get back on in short order

I ordered a 6S+ Silver 128GB at 12:08Pacific. I got the confirmation email and I noticed it didn't show my appt number. I remember putting it in. So I called Verizon to add it, but they said I either had to cancel or I can call back after it ships and they can put a request in to Fedex to add the appt number. Weird. I don't get why they can't edit the address. I have a long address. I think the website must cutoff after so many characters or something.

I ordered 6+ Silver 64BG as soon as VZW opened up at 11:55 PST. Received confirmation email at 11:57, showing ship by 9/25 date. First time pre-ordering an iPhone, so I am excited to see how this whole thing goes, and if I get it on launch date.

I have a few things I need to change, including the apartment number and some features on the plan (they randomly added extra cloud storage without me asking for it), but I refuse to count on them to not mess something up. I'd rather wait until the phone is on the way. Otherwise they may "accidentally" cancel the order.

I live on Commonwealth Ave so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a length issue.
