How are all these Verizon orders getting cancelled? Your mistake or theirs?
Theres. The moron on the phone support wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor as they were all too busy, but she's could help.....by canceling the order and putting it in again. Which she did. So now my entire order is canceled because she was an incompetent moron.
 
My ups still hasn't updated - it says it cannot be found and to try again later.

GAHHH COME ON I WANT TO KNOW WHERE MY PHONE IS!!

I know we all won't get them until Friday, but still

I would demand something from them if you decide to stay. Like a bill credit or a discount on the phone. That's extremely poor service. Did she admit to it or blame it on you?

I think if I knew where it was at, I'd feel better!!!!! Just wish it would update. Verizon lady told me it wouldn't until Thursday. That a label had been created and that was all.

Thursday? Sheesh.

I'd feel much better if I knew where it was, especially with these posts about orders being cancelled.
 
IF YOU HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER, YOUR ORDER HASN'T BEEN CANCELLED.

At least call them and tell them you're leaving. You would be surprised at what retention can do.
 
No movement on mine either. I've never had Verizon use UPS before. Its always been FEDEX. Anyone else have UPS?
 
Yeah, I got a fed ex tracking number on Sunday evening, and the Verizon shipping confirmation email yesterday at 530am PST...

Tracking number still not found on fed ex.

Grrr.

Same. I got my tracking number Saturday, coming via FedEx from Verizon. Tracking number still not able to be found in the system.
 
Mine is still in Newark, NJ (FedEx). I expect it to stay there until Thursday at some point and then start to move up towards MA for delivery.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure mine is going to sit (and get scanned every day) in Memphis until Thursday. Seems like FedEx knows what they are doing unfortunately ;)

Mine is still in Newark as well (FedEx). It hasn't been touched since Saturday. I'm in Kansas City so hopefully it moves this way before Thursday, but I know FedEx knows what they are doing.

Any interesting tips beyond not changing your contract?

Still have mine and the 6s will be delivered Fri.

1. When I call to activate get someone that knows what they are doing. If it doesn't seem like they know what they are doing, just say "Gotta go and hang up" and call back to get someone else. 2. Find someone that is aware of the "special form" that can be filled out in case they screw up and lose your plan (apparently they can file a form to get your UNLIM plan back, takes a few days), he said if they are already aware of this form they can get started filling it out incase they screw up without having to explain to someone else what happened (10x harder). 3. verify with them multiple times that you have an UNLIM plan and intend to do a plan-transfer with no plan changes.

Basically get someone that has experience. But we all have kept the UNLIM plan this long so we already know this.
