Update for everyone. I emailed the C level executives and got a call back right away from corporate. Like within 15 minutes. They were very helpful in explaining that there is nothing that they can do and I'm welcome to place another order and get my phones in november. Other than that, I'm out of luck.

Screw verizon and their incompetent team. They cannot even figure this out after how many years? Seriously!

Keep in mind, as stated previously, your situation is rare. Preorder from somewhere else then, and get the Verizon iPhone if you still want them (if not, then don't)
 
UPS tracking finally shows some movement just shows order processed: Ready for UPS pick up. Shows label created on 9/24 for delivery to Tx on 9/25 by Next Day Air Saver.
 
I preordered through Verizon Saturday Morning; they offered me $200 trade in on my old iPhone 5-32GB.

I would have ordered through Apple, but they would only give me $90 under the recycle program, so it was no brainer to order through Verizon.

That said, my order shows nothing about my trade in, and when I called, they said I had to file after I receive the 6S, and the trade in offer is good till Oct 15th.

I'm kind of concerned Verizon will screw something up with the trade.

We traded my husband's 4s last year. When I saw the flimsy envelope they "required" for shipping, I rightly anticipated my phone arriving broken. They (the 3rd party company Verizon used for recycling) only issued me $36 instead of the promised $200. It took a lot of patience and persistence, but eventually I reached someone at Verizon who valued my 17 years with the same contract and issued me a credit for the remaining $164. Not sure if we will do a trade again this year. I may just go with eBay this time!

Mine is still in Newark, NJ (FedEx). I expect it to stay there until Thursday at some point and then start to move up towards MA for delivery.

Same but ours are headed down to Florida. I assume that NJ location is a major distro hub including air, so they'll go from there, to a plane or truck the night of the 24th, but no changes until then.

I haven't been bumped at all but I've seen a few people with 9/30 dates being bumped to 9/25. So hopefully we can at least see ours on 9/30. I would say you have better chances than me since I got Rose Gold.

I originally had a 9/30 date and got bumped to 9/25.
 
Anyone else who preordered relatively recently seeing any updates? I pre ordered yesterday morning in a store. Estimated shipping still says 9/25 on the Verizon online store. Mine is "being processed".

You got a rare bad apple(s), most reps are good, I've always had knowledgable, good reps.

Not to say there aren't bad ones- there are, but it's not fair to stereotype them all as "incompetent idiots"

Got an e-mail from Apple that has the AppleCare + linked to my new iPhone and it's id so I think they honored the price from Verizon

Ah, so I should probably check my wife's email as our Verizon account is under her name and not mine. I haven't seen any emails yet so they're probably going all to her...
 
Now I wait until it fully updates them I can pick up locally. No way I'm waiting until "end of day"
Let me know how that goes for you. I live in Mesa AZ and want to pick up at the sort location as well. But mine is FedEx. I want to call and have it held so I can pick it up and not wait around all day for the driver.

I agree.. and with the way some of you are claiming to speak to these reps it's really no wonder you're getting bad service. I've worked in customer service where I had the capability to give the customer whatever they wanted if I felt like it and can tell you I would go out of my way to make sure the customer got screwed if they were treating me like dirt. Be nice. I know Verizon is the one who messed up, but being polite about it will get you much further.

Wow, so a very recent preorder is still shipping by the end of this week?

I preordered on vzw.com and it's saying 11/4. Maybe I should cancel it and go preorder in the store.
