I'm on the same boat as some of the others posting. Was given ship date of 10/07 for my 6+ 128 gb gold, but now on that preorder page where you put your last name, it says sent to warehouse and ship date of 9/22!!!! Hope it means coming by Friday!
 
Yes you should. The 6s was in stock for longer. The constraint was with the 6s+. The 6s 128 is probably the least popular 6s.

Ordered 9/12 about 4am CST 6s plus 128gb sg.

Expected ship date 10/7

Card just charged and ship date changed to 9/22, but no tracking yet. From preorder site.

Did you have a tracking number previously? Or did they just give you one big update that had the tracking number that was already live?

Had tracking # but not live at first. It went live earlier today.

Disagree, when it is two different reps last night, two different today, and the call from the office that got the email when I emailed the CEO. That's a lot of bad apples.

Checked the preorder site says ship date 9/22 so hopefully we get them Friday 10/7 was so far away waiting on some tracking info now
 
Preordered 7 am 9/12. Have still only seen the "order being processed" note in the account. I went on chat and found out that my Edge Device Upgrade Payment at the preorder checkout was improperly calculated, and was holding up the order. I had a 9/25 deliver by date, hopefully this doesn't delay.
 
I was just charged, my delivery date was by 10/7. Ordered the 6s Plus silver 128GB. Placed my order September 16th. I don't have tracking number or anything yet. When looking up by order and Last name nothing is found. But at least some of us are making progress.
 
I preordered mine from Verizon at about 7am on the 12th. I ordered a gold iPhone 6s Plus 128gb and it says I should expect it on the 7th. My account was charged today, but it still says the 7th? Is anyone else expecting their iPhone the 7th or earlier????

You will most likely have it earlier. My expected delivery was 9/30 but yesterday my card was charged and woke up to tracking number this morning. I bet you'll get your email soon!
 
I keep going to the preoder.verizonwireless.com website and all it does after I sign in is let me attempt to preorder a device. It doesn't tell me anything about any of my preordered iPhones. Is there something in particular I am supposed to select ? Thanks for any help :)


Bottom left, click the order status link.
 
When you go to that website instead of logging in click on the order status option on the lower left of the login. You'll go to a page that asks for your confirmation number and last name.

What sucks is no one will be home Friday if they deliver then, unless it's after 5pm.

I was hoping I'd get lucky and my wife's phone that I ordered on the 16th would get bumped up for an early delivery instead 10/07. It's a 6+ 64gb silver.

My delivery date just changed from September 30th to the 25th, with tracking on it. 2 iPhones, 6s+ Black 16GB and 16GB Rose Gold 6s
 
Was feeling kinda butt hurt over my tracking being dormant in New Jersey since the 19th but after reading through this thread and seeing how many orders were cancelled feeling really thankful now it's at least somewhat on its way

Does Verizon ship with ups and do they require a signature?

They ship with both UPS and FedEx. It seems like most people here have been getting UPS including me. And it also looks like a signature will be required although some people may be looking into getting around that somehow.

Hey guys,

Just an FYI I was able to set a "shipment release authorization" by creating an account. Don't know if it will work or not but I guess only time will tell.

My bank account was just charged. I haven't received a tracking number yet but using preorder.verizon.com or whatever shows it shipping on 9/22. Following the link from the confirmation email shows 10/7

I just got a notification that my cars was not charged. I ordered a 128GB Space Gray 6S Plus on 9/12 after 10 PM EDT with a delivery date of 10/07. Took CC off hold and called Verizon to try again. Just checked my order status and it changed from 10/7 to Not available at this time!
 
I'm really tempted to change it for a pickup at a convenient UPS location..but I'm terrified it's going to mess up the delivery and delay things...given the chaos this preorder is causing UPS and FedEx, there's bound to be screwy things happening...

What about...not same last name but same address?

Honestly not sure, don't have that particular issue so didn't ask, but from what it sounded like as long as the address is correct they may release it to you.

I called back and spoke with another person and they told me that it is at the discretion of the person helping you.

I am rerouted and will give it a shot before work. I really can't imagine waiting around all day for a truck to come if I don't have to. I figure I will take in my licenses, a signed letter from my wife, a utility bill, and the top of my mortgage statement that has both names. I just can't imagine they won't release the package to me. My wife works in a clinic and just isn't able to go pick up the package.

I swear I'm not being impatient, the UPS guy in my area never gets to my house until after 6:30 and on iPhone launch day something tells me he will be later than that and I really don't want to wait around all night for my phone to arrive. First preorder that should actually get to me on launch day I've always waited in line, I honestly don't know what it more stressful.
