I just got charged!!!!! Hopefully that means my 10/07 date just got bumped to Friday :D:D:D

EDIT: I checked the status about an hour ago and it still said pending and 10/07. Now it says "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back later" with no date
 
I don't understand that either. I literally just got off of the phone with a verizon rep and I ordered 4 phones (64gb rose gold, 64gb gold plus, 128gb space grey, 128gb space grey plus) and i ordered at 4 am EST on launch day an hour after they started I got all of them saying 25th delivery and I just called and the rep told me its showing now october 7th delivery. I got heated which I know is not necessary but thats not acceptable when I order and it says something and now they're saying something completely different when I call them. Makes NO sense at all. I don't get it. Its not even a rose gold plus we got that they said are the lowest stock and most on back order. one gold plus and one space grey plus.

I hope this is all bs and it ships when it should. Thats very disappointing and not what I would expect from verizon. Although same kind of thing happened last year but I ordered at 6 am and was late.

I hope they fix this and it ships. I do NOT have high hopes though.
I would be okay with getting ours on 9/30 I mean october seems so far away especially after waiting so long for launch day to finally be almost here, then still have to wait 2weeks after that ugh

I just checked my account and I also was just charged like 10mins ago ☺ I'm excited now my status says the same, I'll be checking back all night hope my date changes soon

I set up mobile alerts on my credit card but I didn't expect to actually get the notification. Very exciting!

I just decided to check when I saw your post, I was so excited seeing the charge lol this is my first preordering, I was starting to get depressed everybody was being charged now I'm waiting on the tacking number

I just got a notification that my cars was charged. I ordered a 64GB Space Gray 6S Plus on 9/17 with a delivery date of 10/07. Just checked my order status and it changed from preorder to processing!
 
I agree.. and with the way some of you are claiming to speak to these reps it's really no wonder you're getting bad service. I've worked in customer service where I had the capability to give the customer whatever they wanted if I felt like it and can tell you I would go out of my way to make sure the customer got screwed if they were treating me like dirt. Be nice. I know Verizon is the one who messed up, but being polite about it will get you much further.

Kind of what I was thinking. Don't get me wrong, I think it's awful that some orders have been cancelled, but there is a common thread here, and its something that I've learned from following pre-order threads the past couple years and its reinforced by what I see here. DO NOT CALL customer service just because you're impatient or paranoid. You are absolutely asking for something bad to happen (especially if you behave poorly). After reading these threads, I've often wondered just how much extra staffing these companies employ just to handle the call volume this time of year. In a perfect world, every customer service rep would have been flawlessly trained and have the answers to every question. I'm not convinced this is the case, but I understand why. You couldn't pay me to call Verizon right now.

Reading all these and getting frustrated. Have had a 9/30 date and no movement other than order is pending. Placed the order over the phone for what it's worth. Didn't want to even do it but I remembered last year people saying they were getting them launch day despite it being a few days after as their ship date. I'm seeing it happen here but not for me.
 
I preordered mine from Verizon at about 7am on the 12th. I ordered a gold iPhone 6s Plus 128gb and it says I should expect it on the 7th. My account was charged today, but it still says the 7th? Is anyone else expecting their iPhone the 7th or earlier????

When I use the preorder.verizonwireless.com website and enter in my preorder conf number and name it says order has been shipped to the warehouse with a ship date of 9/22.

The second order we have which I placed on the 16th (mine is on the 12th) still shows the amount and credit card info so I know it's still pending.

Make sure you check the preorder.verizonwireless.com status. My e-mail link still says 10/07 but the preorder status says 9/22

Then you are getting it Friday.

haha why you say that?

I ended up canceling last year but I don't want to do that again this year. its absurd they can't give you a correct estimated time when ordering so that you don't have to waste your time when ordering if you don't want to order based upon the correct time they estimate.

really is bs
Verizon canceled my order and can't fix it. I lost my place in line for friday delivery because of it.

Yes you should. The 6s was in stock for longer. The constraint was with the 6s+. The 6s 128 is probably the least popular 6s.

When you go to that website instead of logging in click on the order status option on the lower left of the login. You'll go to a page that asks for your confirmation number and last name.

What sucks is no one will be home Friday if they deliver then, unless it's after 5pm.

I was hoping I'd get lucky and my wife's phone that I ordered on the 16th would get bumped up for an early delivery instead 10/07. It's a 6+ 64gb silver.
