Verizon.com: Preorder thread

I got an option to "change of delivery" with fed ex
Does anyone else have this option?
It doesn't really matter for me because I'll be at work all day and get hm before its scheduled delivery time. But hope my wife doesn't have to leave hm all day.
I talked to the rep of fed ex and he said don't trust the estimated time.
Should I just do the in Hub pickup?
 
so weird that it worked fine for me at the 'label created' stage. was able to set it up for pickup no problem. still says pending, but it will say that until its gets to the final destination i believe.

they fit, but they hug the buttons a lot, it won't be even, but it will do the job

Working with shipping a lot of packages I have seen packages arrive in the destination city, ship half way across the country, and then go back to the final destination, all within 24 hours. You should still be fine :)

UPDATE: Memphis scans have been occurring in numerous packages that aren't actually in memphis. Computer has used the same location numbers for multiple facilities (accidental) which makes the computer think a package is in Tennessee, when it is not... feeeeew!
 
Yup. If it was shipped ground. It would have stayed in jersey. All overnight packages go to the carriers main hub and back out from there.
 
Yes!!! For the record, I ordered a rose gold 128GB 6S on Tuesday morning. I gotta get off work early to be home for the signature but it's totally worth it

Is anyone signed up for UPS alerts and if so, are they working to alert you once your package is "in transit"? I signed up for text alerts and turned on push notifications from the app, yet I still keep refreshing like a maniac because of course I don't trust those alerts to be instant enough for me :rolleyes: I can already see my future self looking back at my current self and smh in shame.

tomorrow I will be at work all day and plan to have a fed ex sheet signed on my door. I know that it says indirect signature is allowed but will I have any issues with it not being delivered using this method?
 
Update: It's 2:36pm for me... and UPS STILL says: "Order Processed:Ready for UPS" ugh, I just want my phone to ship! It's not even about getting it by tomorrow (which is preferred) I'm just afraid of it being stuck at UPS for the weekend, and then not being around at all on Monday (which I never am). Am I stressing over nothing? I see everyone talking about UPS updating already and I'm just getting anxious.

UPS origin scan in Louisville at 8:40am. I'm trying to stay patient but it's difficult knowing it'll be here tomorrow! Im glad my UPS guy is a fellow neighbor so he usually doesn't drop off signature packages unless we're home and knocks like crazy if we don't answer right away lol (I don't have a doorbell to hear)
 
I just shrieked like a little girl in starbucks. I put in a change of address request on Monday because it was being shipped to my billing address and not where I am currently across the state. Verizon told me it would still arrive on time, but I chatted with UPS yesterday who told me that it may delay delivery for 1-2 business days. Anyone else do an address change?

As long as they have it by the end of day (8pm in most cases) it will still get to you on time. My UPS tracking detail (try this link - https://www.packagemapping.com/) shows billing information submitted at 6:06 pm. Assuming they somehow knew when it was actually going to get picked up that is still 3-4 hours away. Hopefully it scans before that. My computer can only handle so much refreshing!

Mine's currently in Louisville, KY. About a 12 hour drive away from me, I guess it's going to be moving during the night.
 
Mine left Louisville @ 2:06 pm enroute to Pennsylvania. Delivers by 3pm 9/25 by UPS. Also have another coming by FedEx which was shipped out Saturday to deliver tomorrow as well. Good Luck to Everyone!
 
I wonder how some of you guys are getting the option to change the delivery with FedEx to hold for pickup when that option is greyed out for me and when I call I am told my delivery isn't eligible for hold for pickup?

Thanks! Mine says Billing info submitted at 5:57pm, so I guess I have a few hours! However, my phone is coming from Pennsylvania, and I live in Massachusetts, so that's a quick overnight trip to Boston, and then down to the local hub. This link definitely helped!

I managed to get a Black leather 6s case from Apple for $20 thanks to finding a random Apple gift card I got in May. I like it way more than expected. I have a lifeproof battery case that I would like to use but I am not too sure how well the 6s will fit into it so I planned accordingly.
