so if you order a 3:01 your wait time will be like 4-5 weeks?

IMHO, this is not about perspective of importance. It's about relevance to the topic which I'm interested in at a given point in time. At this forum we discuss Apple-related topics. Not current events that are happening across the globe.
Everything that a Verizon rep tells you,You should take it with a grain of salt. How much do you really think they know about the details of the iphone? There just saying anything at this point and throwing it against the wall and hoping it sticks.

so do they preorder on the 3rd, or just order on the 3rd?
existing Verizon
Wireless customers will have an exclusive online
purchase opportunity before iPhone 4 is available
to everyone else.
As someone in the UK..I am amazed at the amount of news coverage this gets .a phone has moved to a new carrier, er is this news? Its probably got more column inches than the mass protests in Egypt..a sense of perspective required people?

Did you folks all get emails? I'm an existing customer and I registered but nothing. Don't know if that matters but...

Nobody seems to realize that in June, when the new iPhone 5 or iPhone 4G comes out, this iPhone 4 will become obsolete.
I have ATT and will have no problem upgrading to a new iPhone 5, by extending my contract for 2 years, since I've been doing since the day the original iPhone was introduced.
ATT is rolling out the 4G network soon. It should be ready by June.
People that buy a Verizon iPhone won't be able to pay the subsidized price until 2.10.2012 and they are gonna be pissed off when in just 4 months their phone is limited to 3G and they can't upgrade for another 7 months... I would be.![]()
Why are people so worked up over an iPhone launch when there are people starving. Come on....
someone is always getting killed like this outside 1st world nations. who cares anymore?

AT&T has **** for coverage now what makes you think the LTE will be any better? (Not to mention they say it's 4G and it's not even close to the definition of 4G) They are grabbing for straws now to keep current customers (eg. returning unlimited data pkgs). Very little insight to iP5 so far esp. with the White iP4 "supposedly" about to drop this Spring. Apple might release the iP5 but maybe later than normal because i doubt Apple would cut their own nose off if they go to all of the $effort$ to find the special white paint to correct the first error. My opinion is that LTE version will drop not this year but next once there is more coverage.Only time will tell but guessing and rumors are always fun!
If Apple doesn't release a 4G iPhone this year, they will lose the market.
I am like you now. I used to be one of those that wanted to be the first to have something, so I could talk about it with my friends and say "i was up at xxx time and logged on and got it. Now, that doesn't matter nearly as much.what's the difference if I get iphone4 7 days, or even 30 days later? I'll get one eventually.![]()
