I still have not gotten my confirmation email. I was relatively late on my vzw site order since I tried through apple store app repeatedly and kept getting errors. So hopefully it comes through soon!

I called CS and the automated system said there could be additional wait times, and eventually said "goodbye" and hung up on me.
FWIW, I still haven't gotten an email or see it in order history via Verizon's website. But I am now able to see the order & order number through the VzW app. Try giving that a shot.
Edit: I now see the order on both the site and app, still no email but that's plenty of validation.

Confirmation email finally just came! Doesn't say the ship date in the email which is annoying as I know it said 10/23 on the order

I ended up getting mine a few mines ago. I ordered at 7:57am btw. Delivery date is still 10/23

I too have the same issue. I upgraded through the app. Everything went smoothly. The only email I received was bill and plan change but no order confirmation. Anyone else having this issue? When I go back to the main page I can go through the process again. Makes me think it didn't go through. But I had to change my plan and I got that email with the new charges. So I'm confused.

Same exact thing happened to me. Made me change to the same plan that I already had.
App kept giving me an error, but finally went thru at 8:18. Not happy. The Queen's 12-Blue 128 arrives 23rd, but my Pro Pacific Blue - 2r56 will arrive 11-2 to 11-6. Rats. Email came immediately.
What a mess that was. Nothing but issues on their website and app. Once I was able to not get an error, all the pacific blues had sold out for first ship date. The order went through but it didn’t prompt me to pay for taxes on the phones up front. That seemed new and odd to me. Is that normal now?

I'm in MA and still had to pay the taxes. Did you maybe choose to have it charged to your bill?
As usual, my bank’s fraud protection kicked in and declined the purchase. Called the bank to unfreeze the account, went back to the Verizon web site, and it would not accept the CC because of initial decline. Ended up using Pay Pal. So after 30 minutes of going through clearing the card and reordering, getting the graphite 12 Pro 128GB next friday. Glad they added pay pal this year.

It looks like I did select bill to account. Early morning plus website issues are not a good combo. However, it only shows a few dollars in taxes along with upgrade fee billed to account. No mention of the device tax amount to be billed. Still a bit confused in that part. Does the device tax amount not show up until the devices ship? This is only my second preorder ever, so can’t remember what happened when I preordered the 6 all those years ago.
Interesting. I had no issues. Was very surprised they opened before 8 am EST. It is odd they did not ask you to pay anything up front. I had to pay half of my current phone + some taxes. Do you have confirmation email?

The app also has ApplePay now! Granted, I paid off my balance and added some cards last night, just in case lol.

Finally got my confirmation email. Ordered at 7:05 am confirmation at 7:42 am. Oct 23 delivery date!!!

The full amount usually shows up right away for me. This how it shows on my email confirmation:
Trying that now and on hold. They might not open till 8am PDT. Tried chat in the Verizon app and they could not help 🙁
Anyone know how long the trade in offers from Verizon will last? Want to get my daughter an iPhone 12 as a Christmas gift, getting a nice discount from a trade in + new line. However, if the trade in promo only lasts a short time, I'm not sure how I could wait to give it to her for Christmas given she'll have to trade in her current phone.

Interesting. My email confirmation looks like yours but only shows $2.80 in taxes. Very bizarre.
I believe the preorder offers are only valid for the preorder period. There may be a new offer around thanksgiving, but I don’t think it’s typically as good (but this year is a wild card). Also, there may be a certain allotment they are selling as preorders, so not entirely sure if you will have beyond today to make that decision.

The plan was to order through Apple, but when it got to the account verification, no passcode was received. Hopped onto the Verizon app and I was able to get the order in for my husband’s iPhone 12 256GB in Blue for Oct 23rd delivery.
Only issue is that the confirmation is showing $303 for the trade-in instead of $440. I hope this isn’t a “fine print” issue. He has an older unlimited plan and won’t switch to the one of the new 5G plans until he knows he’s happy with the phone. He’ll call in later to get it sorted. It’s time for work.
