Well hoping I get both phones today getting iPhone 12 and the pro ordered both together separate tracking numbers though they been tracking all week but now this morning one out for delivery while the other still says at facility you would think they would both be out for delivery at the same time since both coming to my house so don’t understand why one states out for delivery and not the other one?

Ouch! I ordered on the 20th and have a ship date of 10/30. 256 GB 12 Pro Pacific Blue.
I too am eagerly watching for a bump up in my delivery date.
Dang, if I didn't combine mine with an Apple Watch that I already received, I'd be trying to place a new order!
I ordered the same thing at noon on 10/16 and I'm still showing 10/30. So I'd be surprised if they move things up. Just called up VZW to get tracking information. ETA is Tuesday 10/27 which is still 3 days earlier than expected but I’ll take take it!

Yup. A mid week delivery will work for me quite well. Everyone appears to be looking for some retail therapy in this cycle. Not surprising at all.

Picked my phone up! It’s great so far!!! Now I just need apple to find my case that has somehow gotten lost and I’ll be good to go.
I will be pre-ordering the 12 Pro Max when ordering begins in a couple of weeks. I am a Verizon customer. Can anyone tell me what the advantages or any disadvantages would be in ordering through Verizon as opposed to ordering directly through Apple? Any significant advantages to either?

Fedex left it with no signature and didn't even ring the bell! I didn't see a nest doorbell notification so it was random luck that BF went out the front door to take one more piece of recycling out to the bins. Two cars were in the driveway so maybe they felt it was secure to leave it? I was literally in the middle of submitting my request for a half day when it came, so now I can play allll afternoon!

I went on the verizon site this morning and ordered for pickup today. Still early here, so store hasn’t opened up yet. I assume I’ll get an email to pickup sometime after the store opens?
UPS came early today! Husband's Blue iPhone 12 arrived just after 11 this morning. Unfortunately since its going back, we can't open it unless we want to pay the $50 restocking fee. I forgot the box was smaller this year, so I thought it was a return box at first because it was so light.
Kind of sucks that we couldn't cancel the order over the phone, both Best Buy and Verizon had stock for the phone he wanted in-store to pick up today. We're going to Verizon later today to do the return to at least free up his line.

Most likely it's because the network is getting hammered by those activating their phones. Also did you turn your old phone off and remove that sim card?
This year, Verizon wants you to activate with the new SIM card, so you can take full advantage of the enhanced 5G network. They even stated swapping sim from 4G phone into a 5G capable phone may prevent the phone from using the enhanced 5G network.
That's not good. You cant use your old phone and now cant use the new phone.
Go to the verizon web site on your computer, log in and go into account and activate new device. That should work better.
