Not seeing much difference in speed between LTE and 5G. If i leave it in 5G Auto, you can see it switching back and forth between LTE and 5G every 5 to 10 seconds. I can only imagine that is going to drain the battery. I attached a LTE speed test and a 5G speedtest result. BTW, the Qualcomm modem gives me a better connection on my 12 Pro than did the Intel modem on my 11 Pro.
You can call order support and they’ll get you your tracking information. Same situation as you but mine are getting here the 27th.My phone wasn't supposed to ship until the 30th, just updated to tell me it shipped yesterday, still no tracking info but hopefully I get it ported in time to avoid a charge from AT&T next month!
On paperwork that came with the phone it clearly states "Be sure to use the Sim provided or pre installed in your device. Using a previous SIM may result in your phone not properly activating."My new sim isn’t activating either. I swapped my old one but will that prevent access to 5g? I remember from old times you needed a new sim for lte
You can swap the upgrade between lines. I can't find the option to do it manually online right now however, if you call Verizon they'd be able to do it for you.So I’m seeing people here saying not to use the 4G SIM card for the iPhone 12...I was going to use my husbands update to get it then activate it on my line, this wouldn’t be a good idea to do by just swapping out the sims after initial activation then?

Did you have to use a different phone to call in, or were you able to do it from the 12? i had no issue, but for people with only 1 line, it would be useful info on how you called in.Left the new SIM in the new 12 Pro (vs. swapping in my old one from the 11 Pro). My phone wouldn't activate on it's own using the smart set up (got a "did not activate please try again). Tried to activate myself via the Verizon site but after putting in my IMEI, got a message to call in. Got through to an agent very quickly and was activated within ~10 minutes. I thought it was going to be a lot more of a hassle. Was pleasantly surprised.
Does anyone have a Verizon delivery date of 11/4? Is there any chance this could be moved up and get it sooner?
Also, how can they already have the SIM number ready almost two weeks out? Isn't that number tied to a physical card?

Yikes! That would frustrate the hell out of me. Were you originally supposed to get it today?I ordered the same phone fifteen minutes after launch and it still hasn’t shipped yet even though verizon assures me it will. It still shows as processing and was supposed to deliver today.

Aaaaaannndd just like that I was reminded why not to order with Verizon ever again.
The refund is being processed and the system wants $303. Apparently it was already applied to the account when the order was shipped. They couldn’t do a simple return and buy a new phone because their system is stupid like that.
So even though we were told that we could do the return in-store we have to send the phone back in. The line is still tied up and no other way to get it free until the corporate office gets the other phone or whatever.
Every year it’s something with Verizon. I’ll be ordering with Apple. I will wait even if it takes me forever to place my order on the 6th. Apple only.
Hope everyone is enjoying their new phones!
