Carrier Verizon iPhone 12/12 Pro/Max/Mini Pre-Order/Order Status/ Delivery Thread (2020)

You hate to see it. This is only about 10 miles down the road and will remain there till tomorrow because it's not "due for delivery" until tomorrow. :)

Anyone else have a order date of Oct. 19 with an estimated delivery date of October 30? Just wondering if there’s been any movement.

Order date of 10/20 with delivery of 10/30 here. No movement. 256 GB Pro in PB

Another data point, an earlier poster ordered 10/21 with a delivery date of 10/30 and theirs is arriving tomorrow (post above). Seems color is a big factor as theirs is Graphite. PB is in high demand.
 
Yep. Verizon is off these days. Ordered my wife a 12 on Saturday and they said Tuesday. No update or anything. Had to call to get tracking number and now its says Wednesday.
 
Agreed. Verizon hasn't had AppleCare available during the first few hours of pre-orders for a while now, and every time I have talked to someone at Verizon about it they are adamant that they have not, do not and will not sell it. It's ridiculous!

I shouldn't have to talk to someone outside the company to get reliable information about their products and services!
 
Got shipping info Saturday but was finally picked up by UPS today. Currently, it’s in KY and needs to get to the East coast. Says it will be here tomorrow though. Ordered PB 128 afternoon of pre order day with estimated Oct 30th..so happy it’s A few days early as my 6‘s battery is on life support.


apple care did show up as an option to add thru Verizon but was still deciding so passed but will probably add it now once it gets here.

Yes, it shows up as an option under “View all device protection options” but for the first few hours of the pre-order it wouldn't get added to the cart, apparently it's "out of stock". I want to purchase AppleCare with my iPhone. So, this situation could negatively effect my delivery date. Thankfully, I ordered the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro with AppleCare+ on 10/16 and they were both delivered on 10/23. I might not be so lucky when I order the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max on 11/6.

You can add AppleCare for like a month after you get your phone plus you can buy it right from the Settings app now. Why even bother with Verizon?

Well, AppleCare isn't them. What I found annoying was that AC wasn't listed as an orderable item, unless you did Decline Device Protection, and even though I selected it, they didn't add it and I ended up doing AC through Apple after I received the phone.
 
My Iphone 12 Pro (Pacific Blue) was scheduled to arrive last Friday. It was "incorrectly sorted" by UPS and then shipped to Wisconsin. There was an attempted delivery yesterday and then another one today.

To the wrong address.

I live in Austin, TX.

I've contacted Apple multiple times and they're confused as well. They have a team investigating it but they said it'll take up to 7 days to resolve. I can't even use My Choice to change any settings.

Yaaaaaaaaay.

Probably be 14 or 15 here. At least with LTE, it was in Philly at launch, but it still took 2 years or so to get to us.

The refund is being processed and the system wants $303. Apparently it was already applied to the account when the order was shipped. They couldn’t do a simple return and buy a new phone because their system is stupid like that.

So even though we were told that we could do the return in-store we have to send the phone back in. The line is still tied up and no other way to get it free until the corporate office gets the other phone or whatever.

Every year it’s something with Verizon. I’ll be ordering with Apple. I will wait even if it takes me forever to place my order on the 6th. Apple only.

VZW returns dept is so worthless. Like three times when we returned something, we never go credit until we chatted, and it still took forever to finally fix it.

Just found out my 12pro 128 blue is coming in 10/28. Annoying because I have to chat with them to find this out as the order tab does not have my order

I just find it odd as it seems like no one else had this issue.

From what I can gather it seems the way it works is that apple serves will send a test text to the phone number to verify it. Since during my phone activation I somehow had issues with incoming communication, it failed and then took a few days to reset.
 
Anyone else order 12 pro pacific blue 256g on the 18th? Still have yet to receive any status update other than processing.
