Anyone else order 12 pro pacific blue 256g on the 18th? Still have yet to receive any status update other than processing.

Ordered mine on the 20th. I don't know where it would show processing...mine says "Ordered" and "Estimated to deliver on Oct 30." Perhaps processing is the next step?

When clicking the "Track Order" in initial email received after order it takes you to a screen which shows estimated ship date and status of order. But I don't know how much to trust that.

Ahh, I've just been using the app to track my order. I also see "Processing" now.
 
Still when going to Verizon website no tracking number or even order.

Finally got a text with tracking number.
I asked why this happens because I have the same issue. They say it’s normal because it’s a preorder. Which makes no sense but it is what it is.
 
You can add AppleCare for like a month after you get your phone plus you can buy it right from the Settings app now. Why even bother with Verizon?
I know. I just prefer to get it done at the same time. I've witnessed far too many accidents with a brand new iPhone right out of the box over the years. We weren't even out of the mall before my wife decimated her iPhone 4.
Well, AppleCare isn't them. What I found annoying was that AC wasn't listed as an orderable item, unless you did Decline Device Protection, and even though I selected it, they didn't add it and I ended up doing AC through Apple after I received the phone.
I am aware AppleCare isn't a Verizon product. I was referring to my previous comment about plans with 5G and the fact that their employees are often less knowledgeable to where I can get more reliable information from a kid on Twitter!

Well I was excited to receive my iPhone 12 Pro 256g PB but it was stolen while being shipped. Now have to wait 24-72 hours for Verizon to “investigate” before I can order another device. 😡😡😡

Edit: now the customer service reps are saying it takes 7-10 business days to resolve a claim like this.

That is f***ing ridiculous and wrong. They should send you another one and give you gift card and a case.

Well I was excited to receive my iPhone 12 Pro 256g PB but it was stolen while being shipped. Now have to wait 24-72 hours for Verizon to “investigate” before I can order another device. 😡😡😡
Stolen as once delivered or stolen in transit?

Stolen in transit. When I went to the ups facility to pick up the package the box was busted. The worker advised I open the package there. When I did there was nothing in the box except the receipt and the return envelope. UPS sent a damaged and missing merchandise claim back to Verizon. I have a claim with Verizon and was told it would take 24-72 hours before my line was freed back up and I could place a new order.

Now that’s some BS. Sorry this happened to you. At least there wasn’t a hassle with believing what happened with the package from Verizon. Hopefully you can get a replacement quickly.

Someone at fedex stuck their hand in my box. The return pouch for my trade in foiled the would be thief.
 
Just got the email with tracking confirmation! Should hopefully be here Friday (256g iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue).
Ordered on 10/19, estimated delivery date of 10/30.

Something weird is going on with Device dollars. I used mine when I upgraded to reduce the price of paying in full. The pending charge for the phone fell off my card super quick. Got my phone yesterday and still have not been charged for it after being told it would charge again when it shipped. Receipt in the box with the phone shows full price and no device dollar credit, but my device dollars are zero in my My VZW app. Now wondering if it will show up on next month's bill. I'm not calling again.
 
What does it mean in your Verizon order if Status = Processing and it states Shipment, with no tracking number, rather than a shipment date?

Ordered 2ea 12 Pro's on the 16th, 1ea Blue 256 and 1ea Gold 128.
Status has shown "Processing" and delivery projection 10/30.
As of this morning, status shows processing but delivery is blank.
Doesn't look good to me.
 
Question - So I switched from Tmobile to Verizon last weekend. I brought my fiancé over with me, and my parents who are already Verizon customers - I put them all under me in one 4 line family plan. Now, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max which I got through the apple upgrade program. I went to try and upgrade yesterday and I get an error through Apple's app on my iPhone saying "This line is not authorized to activate through Apple Online Store" - "For consumer accounts, the account owner can authorize an account manager for this line" - I am the account owner and this makes zero sense. I called VZW and they had no clue and blamed Apple, I spoke to Apple and rightly said this is a VZW thing and maybe my account is too new.

Any suggestions?

I must say, I am already regretting switching from Tmobile. Tmobile at least for me was super easy, pick your plan, one fee all in every month and no surprises. Plus the international travel benefits were great. I am hoping I do not regret this move, and then ultimately end up back with Tmobile. I switched because my parents live in upstate NY and Tmobile is not great there and when I go see them I barely have strong service.

I’m no help, but We switched to Verizon too 😃 Once our iPhone 12s arrive in the mail and we activate them, our AT&T service will be cancelled. There were some nice deals for switching carriers and getting new phones so it felt like the time to do it
