For those of you who have tracking numbers showing up on UPS/FedEx, what is your package weight? I believe iPhone weights 2 lb. If you have a package weight less than 1 lb then it is not iPhone. Maybe just a trade-in box or a SIM card or something...

So I have a fedex package coming tomorrow weighing 1pound and ups package Friday weighing 2 pounds and i only ordered a pro max

Order was completed Friday, 9/17, at 5:34 am for a Sierra Blue Pro 512 GB. Since that day it has not updated. Still says it's being prepped for shipping. At this point Verizon is going to have to send with either 2 day or overnight shipping. Feeling a wee bit skeptical. Hope I don't regret not just standing in line at a store as I usually do.

Mine went from "estimated delivery 9/24" to "Delivery date will be updated soon". No updates from UPS or FedEx other than the trade-in box. I gave up the hope for Friday. I should have ordered through Apple. Lesson learned.
I usually just wait in line on release day so 1st pre-order experience. So, good to hear this wait is normal.

The silver iPhone 13 pro I ordered in the 17th supposedly is on the way via FEDEX for delivery on Friday the 24th, originating from that well-known hotspot of Apple technological development, Indianapolis, Indiana. The status of the gold 13 pro max I ordered at the same time for my wife has yet to be updated.
Yes, that was my only option with discounts etc. And I went to the store in person, so they actually did it. This will be the third phone on the same account since 2016, and not the most expensive one either.
The problem showed up at 11pm last night. I've had a chat window open for 30 minutes with no activity so I expect I'll burn an hour at the store today. Not happy

Happened to me last year. My payment was pending till shipment. Then when they went to ship, they charged a different amount than the pending amount ($0.03 difference) which caused my CC to decline it. Ended up taking an extra week to receive my phone after getting the payment resolved. Problem too was, when I called they kept telling me “everything is fine on our end”. Ended up calling and escalating till I got a rep who understood what my issue was, could actually see it, then could fix it.

My two new phones, 1 pro and 1 pro max, are shown in my devices on Verizon’s website. Serial number and imei are shown for both.
They were both shipped UPS and are shown to come from Fresno CA. What is strange is both have the same weight, 1.2lbs, even though one is the max.
As long as they deliver Friday like the UPS tracking says I’ll be happy.
