In a nutshell, Verizon could not have f'd up my order any more if they had tried.
After attempting to fix this with three reps on chat this morning, I went into the store. (one more hour of my life gone)
After explaining again to the rep in the store, we tried again and again to "change the payment method". All I can guess is that my Verizon dollars had not been applied to the order, despite me seeing the rep hit that button and complete the sale last week.
Nothing any of us did were able to get that working. All I had to do was pay them since they felt they were unpaid due to a glitch in their system. But nope, can't do it.
The rep at the store ended up juggling two different phone calls to see how to get around this. She mentions worst case scenario, let's cancel the order and start again. I say I'd rather figure out how to pay the louse $50 rather than have my phone date pushed out.
Guess what? Idiot on the phone decided to cancel the entire order. Phone, ipad, gone!
So I either go in (AGAIN) on Friday and hope to get a phone in hand, or order everything online again and hope it works.
I got a good trade in and other discounts but geez should I just go to Apple at this point? They are sooo busy though!
