I have one phone held up in Indiana since last night and no movement and was supposed to arrive today, and a second one this supposed to arrive today via FedEx, however I am skeptical on that one as well:

Same thing happened to me, when I contacted Verizon on the phone they were perplexed on how it happened. They sorted things out fairly quickly though. Also had an address issue this year which completely removed my apartment number, which seems to have happened to a few others here.

Pretty disappointing to be honest, not sure what happened this year. I went through the same exact process last year with no issues at all. Thinking about using Apple next year for the whole process...

I spent over an hour on the phone and escalated to a supervisor. They told me paying through PayPal Credit wasn’t an acceptable form of payment even though it was an option. The charge has been on my PayPal account for 7 days. They said I had to show proof that the charge exists even though they have the transaction receipt on their end. I asked if the charge was reversed on them and they said no. So how can they charge my monthly bill for a transaction that hasn’t been reversed. They’re operating under the assumption that PayPal is going to reverse the charge? If they don’t like PayPal then don’t offer it as a payment option. They also charged me $15 more than the receipt amount that was pending originally. So right now I’ve paid $254 through PayPal and am being charged an addition $200 on my Verizon bill. The difference being the upgrade fee and some taxes. I have an investigation ticket number, just waiting now.
 
Ordered 9/19. Still stuck at "delivery date will be updated soon" although I was promised a delivery date by 10/1. If they couldn't fullfill the order by that date then they shouldn't have stated that they would. Spoke with an agent today that said those dates were subject to change, & could be delayed.

I ordered the Pro Max in Sierra Blue on 9/20 with a ship date of 10/1. The only update was when it switched to “will ship soon”. I spoke to someone on chat today because the auth to my card is still showing pending and he is now saying there’s a delay on this phone and it won’t even be shipped by 10/1 and he cannot give me a timeframe. He said it’s a “priority” but I’m beyond annoyed that there have been no updates saying there was any type of delay.
Mine updated today to “Delivery date will be updated soon”. Chat now says expected ship date as tomorrow. I ordered the 256GB version on the same date as you did.
 
Verizon strikes again, got my monthly bill and they charged me for my payoff amount on my old phone. I already paid it with a CC when I pre-ordered. Guess who gets to sit on the phone with them today.

My "next bill" has gone from $175 to $253 to $315

And there's an extra iPad on it no one can delete. Hopefully it will fall off the account Oct 1 when I don't accept terms and conditions (there is no way for me to decline terms and conditions)

The good news (maybe) is that the lady I talked to yesterday gave me an outlandish number for my 2016 SE trade in and I could hear her typing away as she updated my account dialog, so I'm counting on that being in the notes.
 
BTW when I did my pre order, they moved me to a more expensive plan immediately. Not only did I not receive my phone for 7 days, I couldn't get it activated for another 3 days.

One of my clients has a phone on order (they didn't have it in stock) and he's still on an old S/M/L plan. He said they told him the plan would change when he activates the new phone. Which is how I expected it to happen.
 
I am bringing my trade-in to the store. I want a receipt showing I handed it over to Verizon. With the way shipping has been these days.....
Can’t if you ordered online. I tried going in twice and both times they told me I had to mail them in using the kits that were sent out when I ordered. Just keep the tracking numbers and you’ll be fine.

I never got a kit. My pre-order got hosed so I had to buy everything in-store on launch day.
 
I ordered two Pro Max versions. The email I received says both phones shipped. The Orders section in my account show two separate shipments with one waiting for Delivery to be updated soon. The UPS is showing the package weight at the 2.2 pounds. Wondering if that is both phones. 🤔
 
Woke up this morning to some good news, delivery estimate went from (orig date of) tomorrow to today! I'm not keeping my hopes up though until it's in my hands lol. Silver 13P 128
 
Does anyone know when the tradein deals will end with Verizon? Someone in the store said it's not a set date, but a set amount of units.
 
My 2 Pro Max orders made on 9/19 haven’t budged. One has an oct. 1st date and the other oct. 8th. I was hoping the oct. 1st one might come earlier than that, but now it appears it will actually come later since the order status has not changed at all from the day it was made.

I ordered a Sierra Blue Pro Max 512gb on 9/24 with an estimated ship date of 10/08. Last night it changed to “delivery date will be updated soon”. This morning, I haven’t received a shipping email, but the app shows shipped and UPS tracking says label created, so it looks like I’ll get my phone earlier than expected.

Verizon called me today after their investigation and discovered I was right. They sent the credit to my bill. I asked them about the hour I sat on the phone, crickets.

Nice! I ordered (2) Silver Pro 512, (1) Silver Pro Max 512 and (1) Graphite Pro Max 512 on 9/23. All of them still show 10/8 estimated delivery, and hasn't changed since I ordered.

Hoping I see some motion soon, similar to you.

Got an email confirming my 9/19 order that had an Oct. 1 ship date is delayed because “our stock ran out before we could fill your shipment”. New ship date is Oct. 8.

Well I just got 4 Amex notifications about the charges, and I checked the status. Only 1 of the 4 changed status to "Delivery date will be updated soon."

Hope we get all 4 😅
 
Got my phone today but no return kit. Called Verizon but sat on hold for 45 minutes and never spoke to anyone so I gave up. Anybody else have this issue? Can you take it to the store?
