Never say never I’d love to see a pissed off Tim Cook that someone got their iPhone early
very rare to get it early. Apple has pretty strict agreements with FedEx/ups to not deliver until launch day. Only ones I have ever heard of slipping thru is a carrier shipped mistake.

Glad i am on Verizon. My girl is on at&t (since we live in hurricane area I want on different networks) order hasn't even got tracking number yet. She ordered about the same time i did.
No word from ups on delays in N.C. yet. Fedex sent out email saying packages could be delayed for my area. Fingers crossed
I have a 16PM coming Friday ordered from Apple with Verizon financing. If I want to change to another config,color what are the steps,go to Verizon store or Apple Store or can I just call?
Officially your are supposed to return your new phone by mail and order if different configuration. Verizon is not going to have stacks of new iPhones available.
Apple is also going to have limited walk-in stock but it can't hurt for you to try but it is doubtful.

OK, so does anyone have any experience getting a phone shipped from Verizon?
It seems that Verizon puts a restriction on the package so you can’t have it held at your local UPS center for pick-up.
So how on earth do you ever get your phone if you can’t take the day off work? Like can you finally request that it be held at a service center after the first delivery attempt? Or does UPS just do three delivery attempts and then if you’re never there, they send it back to Verizon and you get billed some return fee?
At this point, I’m not really worried about getting it on Friday, I just wanna be able to get it someday at all.

That's the same restriction Apple has this year. You can have it held after the first delivery attempt. You should plan to call the number listed on the UPS Missed delivery notice.

I can be wrong here. Just going off what I remember from past years.
You can call ups and ask if they can deliver to ur work or hold at ups. This work for me one year next year it didn’t could be person you talk to or policy change.
After first attempt of delivery I think you have more options like hold at ups store or select a delivery time and date.
2 years ago I was sick and put note on my door saying I was sick and was okay to leave delivery at front door. With my signature. Did talk to him through door cam. Could helped but I wasn’t home lol
My 9/30 delivery date on Verizon still shows estimated to deliver on 9/30 but where it says shipped on, it changed from ships on 9/30 to shipped 9/14. Odd. My phone also changed to 0% paid off and shows the new IMEI and installment plan. So....a little bit of movement? I'm thinking unlikely for Friday but one can hope lol
In NJ here. Switching from tmobile to verizon. Ordered at 8am last friday as soon as it opened. Nothing on my end either not even a shipping label or tracking #. My order page still shows estimated delivery by 9/20 as it has the entire time. Dunno if the fact that I’m switching to Verizon is causing any delay.
UPS in Haslet Tx has my package since 10pm on the 16th. No movement besides that. Should start seeing movement today
I see a tracking number on my UPS account, but it’s saying it has no further info on the package yet. I’m guessing that it’s my phone.
Tracking received earlier this morning. 16 Pro Max 1TB Natural Titanium ordered 9/14 shipping via UPS. Verizon initially said 9/27 delivery, email with tracking shows 10/3.

Hey! Same boat. Initially 9/30, email says 9/24, but with overnight and this staging, I imagine it’ll see movement overnight and delivery tomorrow. Thoughts?
