I’m coming from
Just found some verbiage on the Verizon web site that now gives me a bit of pause in regards to this any phone will do for $1000 upgrade.

"For upgrades, phone must be active on account for 60 days prior to trade in".

I'm all the way to where it will actually allow me to process the $1k upgrade with an iPhone X that has not been on my account for 2 years but concerned if I go through with it that I'm going to end up with a bad deal after all. I can't find anything in the process that calls this out other than some tiny text in the offer on the front page of the web site. Nothing else calls this out that I have found once you're inside the upgrade page, document review, etc. It actually states the opposite "We will give you $1k for your iPhone X" (paraphrasing).

Anyone actually done this before and worked out ok? I can chat or call I suppose just thought I'd check here first. Thanks.
I’m coming from Verizon and was told it won’t affect me as I brought my own phones over. Everything in my and my sons purchased reflect the 1,000 off and the discounts per phone.

Thanks. And just to confirm, are you upgrading existing lines or adding new lines? I am upgrading and that is where the concerning verbiage comes into play so just wanted to double check.

Call Verizon accept any older iPhone for the thousand dollar trade-in like an iPhone 5 or it must be a new device like iPhone 11 onwards thanks

I meant I’m coming from T Mobile. I upgraded two lines. I’ve already received emails showing the discounts and monthly payment if any

Yeah I ended up just letting a chat person process it for me and went right through with no questions asked. This was an upgrade of a current Verizon line so we'll see if I run into any issues I guess.

Still no update beside label. Could use some good news. Been trying to get home past 7 hours. Live at N.C. coast line. We got a lot of flooding from the storm. What a fun day

I think that verbiage must only be if you are trading in an existing phone on your account (it gives you that option, or select other phone). There’s a part in entering your trade in info where it lets you select what carrier the trade in iPhone was on. I did see some language where it said LTG may take up to 2 billing cycles to start seeing your trade in credit

Same with me. Still at the label created stage for the last 2 days. Also coming from Ft. Worth.

Mine (iPhone 16 Pro Max 1 TB in White Titanium) was updated this morning with "We have your package" - Arrived at Facility. West Chester, PA - delivering here in Alabama.

I hope you all are okay and doing well after the flooding!!

I am at the "WE HAVE YOUR PACKAGE" scan with UPS, if anyones moves can you post it here? Thanks!
I spoke with UPS about mine. They are saying that my package is in transit and should be delivered tomorrow. I don't see that happening, but that's what they're telling me.

I opened a new business account coming from T-Mobile but this is all I’ve gotten. I also got a new number so I can’t set up my Verizon yet.

Am I okay?

That’s all it says.
Estimated delivery was 09/20
