Carrier Verizon iPhone 16/Plus/Pro/Pro Max US Pre-Orders, Orders, and Delivery Status Thread (2024)

I ordered the 16 PM 1TB Black Titanium 8am on preorder day. My order shows shipped date 9/13, ETA 9/20 but it doesn’t show the tracking number yet.
 
I gotta say… at least for me - the Verizon app didn’t glitch any harder than usual when Pre-Ordering began Friday morning.

Sure, the app couldn’t compete my pre-order the first time… or even the second or third times. So there is that.

But I don’t think anyone is expecting perfection from an app developed by a team of undernourished high schoolers.

What matters to me personally is that I’ll be receiving the specific iPhone 16 Plus model I wanted on the first day it’s available.

So, it’s all good. (Although the app’s UX seriously gives me the Ick every time it launches)

Anyway, I’ll just say here - thank you to the enterprising young talent enrolled in AP Software Engineering at Staten Island Technical High School there in New York.

Does anyone know if I will need to call VZW or if I can do the following myself without having to contact them? I ordered my 16PM with an upgrade that was available on another family members line. With the 16PM using eSim it looks like it's already pre-activated with the other family members phone number. How do I go about changing the eSim to my number? Are there some sort of prompts when first turning on the 16PM to choose a different eSim for it to connect to or do I need to either call or go to a local VZW store to get them to change it? Should I keep the 16PM turned off when I get it until the eSim account is switched? Thanks!

EDIT: I too got a shipping notification for my 16PM and a tracking number through FedEx...Delivery on VZW's website says 9/24, FedEX says it's being dilevered on Friday the 20th. They also have a note saying the shipper asked them to hold it until 9/20.

I received the Fed Ex tracking number for my sons 16 pro 512gb- Verizon is moving quickly this year

Got email with my UPS tracking number this morning. Email says 9/26 delivery (had been 9/20). UPS says tracking number generated but package it yet received, so no delivery estimate. I’m still expecting it launch day

Ordered an iPhone 16 Pro Max 1TB in Titanium Black around 8:30am CT on Friday. I see I have a FedEx tracking number already! No delivery date yet but I’m sure that will be Friday 9/20. My credit card also has been charged.

I had to go into my FedEx account to see the tracking number. Nothing official on the Verizon app yet.

Same here. Can we pick it up at a fed ex location?
 
Received FedEx tracking for my 256GB Desert Titanium Pro Max. Verizon email says delivery date 9/24 but nothing directly from FedEx yet
 
Received tracking info as well. It says 9/18 delivery date but we know that's false. I order from VZ every year and this is the first time I got an early shipment. It usually ships the day before launch.
 
Looks like the tracking info for my sons iPhone 16 Pro 512 Black Titanium has updated. Just waiting on my AW10 46mm Natural Titanium to ship now

I got my FedEx tracking number and it’s on the way! It does say it won’t be delivered until 9/20 per shipper’s instructions.
