Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Same boat

I got my confirmation email for a 32gb black this morning at 3:16. Has held up 9/21 ship date until just now, moved back to 9/26. Hope this is just a glitch, if not I woke up at 3AM, and took the 21st off for nothing!
 
Mine changed to 9/26 too, and I ordered before 3:00 AM. This really sucks. Any way to get it faster or receive a refund? We should be entitled to a 9/21 deliver date if that's what it said on the website at the time we ordered.
 
Hi everyone,

I placed my order at around 2:05AM Central (64GB black). I received the confirmation E-Mail a few minutes later... I wokeup this morning, logged into my Verizon account and at the top it says:

"Your pending order can’t be shipped until you accept the Order Terms And Conditions."

I clicked the "Order Terms and Conditions" link in the sentence which brings me to a "looking up your account" page and then a page that says "The selection you made is unavailable at this time". I called 611 on my phone, it said I had a pending order that needed me to accept the terms and conditions. It read back my phone number, but my order number it stated was blank (no number was read back). I waited on hold for 45 minutes, asked the lady and she said I might just have to activate it when I get my phone???? She then transferred me to the activations department which was the automated message again saying I needed to accept the terms which I hit 1, it read me a blank order # again and said it accepted the terms (but the website says I still need to). Anyone else have this problem?

I checked the order status page (https://preorder.verizonwireless.com/iconic/iconic/screens/IconicSearchInit.do) and it says my shipping is now the 26th too (it said the 21st in the E-Mail).

I have the same thing here. My order went through at 2:53 AM (Eastern, I was able to access the pre-order right when it started around 2:45 AM) and it said "delivers by 9/21" but then on the status page said "ships 9/21" and now says "ships 9/26". I'm guessing it's a mistake.

My order was in at 3:10am and up to 20 minutes ago my date on the order status was "delivers by 9/21." Since people were saying they were seeing changes I just checked. Sure enough, mine has also been changed to 9/26.
 
Add me to the list of folks who's status now shows 9/26. I ordered a few minutes before 1AM (MST), and its said 9/21 all along. Checked earlier this morning and it still said 9/21, just checked a few minutes ago and it says 9/26... hopefully this is indeed a glitch, or I know I'm not going to be the only one upset.:(

it's gotta be jacked up, I just checked (as if I were buying a new phone) and it still shows "will deliver by 9/21".. guess their system (hopefully at least) is just jacked

Don't guess that. This sounds like a typical Apple botch job. They like to keep product supply too low so demand causes more talk in the media, and consumer urgency to buy skyrockets.

Of course, all they end up doing is p***ing off their customers and creating even MORE ill will against Apple.
 
Ordered my iphone 5 exactly at 12.00am pacific time here in California got my order confirmation email 10minutes later in the email it says Delivers by 9/21/2012 also when checking status was 9/21/2012 now its 9/26/2012! Wtf....

Interestingly enough, if I put my order # into the normal check order status page (the one that doesn't seem to work), after 4 or 5 tries it works. That pages still says "ships 9/21". Either way, I'm disappointed I won't be receiving it on the release date (unless these are all glitches).

On AT&T when I preordered my iPhone 4 I received the phone on the release date.
 
Mine is now back to 9/21.

I ordered at 1:52 Central Time on VZW.com, and it has said 9/21 all along, then switched to 9/26, but now back to 9/21. This happened last year with the 4S too, received it on launch day though.
 
I am sticking with my confirmation date unless Verizon notifies me otherwise. This has happened before with large Verizon pre-orders.
 
Also if you go into the preorder system, the only phones it says 9/26 for now are the 64gb
 
64 Gig, black. Mine went from 9/26 to 9/21 just now as well. However, I still haven't gotten a confirmation email....
