same here i ordered around 1:54 am CST. Mine has never changed though fom 9/21 16 gb black.
im using the order status link from the email.
Same here as everyone else, now saying 9/26.
And 30 seconds later it's back to 9/21...
Same here. Now 9/21. Lol people panic every year..
Haha, don't worry folks. This is how it always goes. I know it is hard, but just be patient and enjoy the ride. 
What order number did you use to sign in? I used the ore order number as well as the order number, but it says it's wrong.
Good observation. I hadn't yet been able to get the email link to work. I was working from the website status link. The website shows the 26th but, like you, after trying the email status link a few times, it worked. That link says the 21st. There's certainly glitches going on, for sure.
Edited to add: And now the website link is back to showing the 21st as someone mentioned above.
Just pre-ordered a 32GB over the phone at the discounted price, my upgrade data was 10/12. I had called on Wed and asked if they could move my upgrade date. The guy I talked to looked at how long I'd been a customer, payment history, if I'd had any billing disputes and said he didn't think it'd be a problem to move my date but I'd have to call when pre-orders were actually open to confirm.
The girl I talked to this morning said she was able to push an early upgrade through because I had talked to someone earlier who told me I had a good chance of getting it. She did have to put me on hold for a while. It never hurts to ask, worst case scenario they just say no.
I ordered about 5:00est this morning via Verizon's site. I still haven't received a confirmation email.
16GB White has said since the start delivery date is 21st
16GB Black said by 21st now it is unavailable at this time for a delivery time. No idea why it has changed like that.
Talked to customer service who told me any 16/32GB phone ordered now will be delivered by the 21st, 64GB phones are out of stock at this point.

I ordered mine from Apple at 4:05 am ET and when I just checked it's status it now indicates delivers Oct 5!
In chrome, or at least for me, don't hit enter after entering in your details, click the "Check" button. That works for me. Hitting enter returns an error.
is there a signature release form similar to what they have if you order through apple but for the verizon order? i will likely be at work when its delivered...
Yea I used the check button and it said error but I pressed the back button and it showed up saying 9/21, but now I can't get it back lol

No but they deliver FedEx. I have never had a problem with leaving a signed note at the door. But it is totally up to the driver if they will accept it.
Under the preorder status, do you guys have "ship date 9/21" or "delivery date 9/21?"

Something odd I've noticed -- when checking order status (from the link in the confirmation email), where it asks for your last name, I have to enter it in all lower-case letters in order for the form to work. Regular capitalization or all-caps gives me an error message.
haha mine works/doesnt work in all caps, first letter uppercase, all lower case.
i dont think it matters
