Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

i feel like i've read that it will be delivered on the 21st even though it says ship date. even if it did ship on the 21st, i believe it's free overnight shipping, so saturday or monday?
i just want mine before the 27th since i'll be going to europe on the 28th
I for the life of me can't figure out why my wife's upgrade phone is showing not available at this time, while mine shows the 21st (paid in full, purchased after I purchased my wife's phone)

Is the ACe order number the preorder number?
I ordered about the same time as you did, and I have the same problem. New service, three phones, online it showed delivery by 9/21, but no email confirmation. How do I check?
I called Verizon and spoke with a manager to try to get some sort of special discount or credit when buying the phone full price.
She repeatedly told me that I could trade in my iPhone 4 for a gift card, to which I said I had no interest in doing that.
When I told her that AT&T is letting their customers upgrade for the subsidized price while keeping the unlimited data plan, she said, "I highly doubt that." I told her that she could check herself because AT&T issued a public statement.
After that, she started raising her voice at me saying, "I WORK FOR VERIZON, I DON'T WORK FOR AT&T."
Next, I alluded to being a customer for 9 years and getting my whole family to switch from Sprint 5 years ago, if there was some way they could help me defray the full price just by a bit. She told me there was nothing she could do for me outside of 1) the trade-in for a gift card, 2) upgrade in October for the subsidized price and lose my unlimited plan. At this point, she's almost screaming at me.
They treat subscribers with unlimited plan like crooks or something.

From prior experience... Anyone know when Verizon sends out another email with tracking info for September 21??
I can confirm that my order (placed at 3:20am EST) has gone back to 9/21 ship date. So indeed, it was a glitch.
However, another thing I just noticed on my email confirmation. My shipping/billing address has an Apartment number, but the confirmation does not show any sort of apartment number on my Bill To and Ship to addresses.
I'm hoping this is just a glitch in the way the addresses are shown in the confirmation. When I ordered the phones, there weren't even any options available to change the address, it was pre-filled since I'm an existing customer.

It was doing this to me too so I just said forget it and ordered through apple. It refused to save the apartment number for some reason.
I'm not going to be a happy camper if FedEx shows up next friday and doesn't know which apartment to deliver it to!!!!
My bill to doesn't show my apartment number, but my ship to address does. I suppose that's the more important of the two.
ermm not sure, mine just says Preorder Confirmation: its 15 numbers long

yeah mines the same, billing doesnt have my apt #, but my shipping does..
i dont get why people are concerned? as long as the shippin ghas it. Its all good. Billing only checks your card #, exp date, security code, and zip code. nothing else matters.
On my e-mail my apartment number didn't show so I called Verizon just to confirm it was there. :| Their representatives don't have access to pre orders done online. She asked me if I ported a number over and I said yes. However she said the porting process hasn't started and she doesn't see it at all in the system...
She gave me a number to call to make a new pre order and possibly cancel my old one. Lol. Doesn't make sense to me, why would the porting process start 1 week prior to the phone's release? D:

I was concerned because as my original message states, NEITHER of the addresses show my apartment number.
Still havent received my email confirmation,finally got through on order status page and it says they received my preorder and it is processing,expected date 21st,
Anyone else still waiting on their email confirmation? I ordered when they first started at 2am central time i did just get off the phone with verizon and they have my order expected delivery date 21st,they said im good to go!

That's strange. I got mine within minutes of ordering and I ordered right when they went on sale too. At least the order status page shows it. Good luck.
Woke up at 2:55am (set alarm, wife gave me a look and sent me to sleep in basement

3:01a - See pre-order button on VZW, abandon attempts with Apple.com, go to VZW and start ordering 2 phones (16GB white, 32GB black) as upgrade devices (was eligible, even got $50 off on one of the lines);
3:07a - Completed order (I took a bit time to carefully read service options etc.), immediately got confirmation email stating "Deliver By:9/21"
Been reading this thread and checking status of the pre-order, still reads 9/21... I hope being a nut and doing it so early in the morning would get me the phones by 9/21 (one of them is a b-day present/upgrade, so timing was essential for me).
