No nothing! I'm in Nebraska too. In the past, iPhones have come from Memphis (I believe) and tracking info came on Wednesdays. So I'm not panicking. Yet.
Very anxious too! I gues without having a tracking #, I won't be bombarding FedEx's website....just this one.
I am in the exact same boat. Order #404XX in Minneapolis. No authorization charge at all but not concerned.
Not really... I'd guess mostly pretty much the same as usual, since nothing is happening until Friday...
i have called Verizon a couple times now out of unreasonable anxiety and both times i have been assured everything is fine, my card will be charged soon, and i will get an email in the next 24 hours... but for some reason i just cant relax until i get a tracking number

i don't think the pre-order numbers are in any any specific order. as i ordered at 300am central time and have a 877xxx (6 digit) number whereas some people who have ordered after me have 5 digit ones.
edit: oh and i have already received a shipping notice and number.

Hey, another Nebraskan! In my past experience they have shipped from Memphis, overnight on Thursday for Friday delivery. When my wife ordered the 4 it came three days early! No such luck with the 4S though...
Coming from android, anyone know if it would be better to use the Verizon backup assistant or manually export/download contacts on my new iPh'n?

+1. I feel like if I dont get a tracking number by tonight, I was pushed back. Especially for delivery tomorrow. Because if you dont get a tracking number by tonight, chances are you wont get your iphone on the 21st.

Why? If they ship it Wednesday you will be fine. Just about everyones last year got sent out Wednesday and we all got them on the 21st. It is weird they are starting early this year. Maybe they had a lot more orders.

You should have everything synced to Google right? If so you can just sync from Google.

When I called, I received my pre order number and I've been using it to check the status. When I checked the status I saw that location number.
Not true, you can easily get your tracking number on thursday and it would be shipped next day air to arrive for the 21st.

i think had i had time to open. ghost armor. encase it. and maybe use/demo. i might've gotten the itch beyond adding a second phone to cart and then editing to 1.
actually more excited. sadly had to wait til like 8am before got tracking info while others got last night.
got case/ screen covers already delivered. just waiting waiting waiting waiting now....
btw mine was ordered in arizona. delivered to california. so i was actually quite worried that i'd run into some sorta legal or technicality issues. but its on track for friday. what'll really annoy me is if no one's home to receive phone friday. lol

You should be able to just log in with your GMail account and BAM!!! Contacts will sync thats how it is on the iPad anyway.
Ordered a black 32gb from Verizon at 3:07 am EST on preorder launch day. Just got an email notification that as of 2:10 pm, my "package" is now at FedEx in Memphis, TN with a scheduled delivery date of 9/21 by 3:00 pm.
Anyway, I'm pretty stoked that I finally have a concrete update as I've been perusing this forum and reading several posts from people who know the freakin' flight number of the plane their phone is on. I was starting to worry that I was going to be one of those poor souls who was going to erroneously receive a 4S or wasn't going to receive my 5 until sometime in October.

Pretty sure it has to do with location. A coworker and I had ours shipped to work and got our tracking numbers at the same time.
