Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Mine shipped this morning! It's shipping via FedEx, unlike last year with the 4S that shipped with UPS.

16GB White, location number: 1456901
 
Had some activity on FedEx tracking earlier, but now it is gone. Has two alerts to select time zones to get tracking info, but the drop downs are blank. Sure would be nice if Verizon and FedEx's websites would work consistently.

Edit: now getting a "framework not found" error when refreshing FedEx's tracking site. Guess they're having website issues. Probably from people like me constantly refreshing it 🙂
 
I just had a mini heart attack:

Coming from T-Mobile, we ordered a free Verizon phone so we could start service and have the opportunity to pre-order at midnight. Had that free phone shipped to my work, just like the iPhone 5 will...called them yesterday to let them know it would be coming, but under a different name (my mom's, who started service)...and they refused to sign for it today cause no one left a note saying it was really for me.

I have Friday off from work, and this has me thinking about sitting at my work all freaking day long to make sure this does NOT happen. I'm sure you could all imagine just how PISSED one could be if they refused signature on your iPhone 5 lol

And FedEx delivers to my work around 11am so that'll be nice!
 
I ordered two phones at the same time from Verizon's site. I got two separate shipping emails. One for each phone number. They both have the same tracking number. I sure hope its two phones in one box from FedEx. Otherwise I'm sure my wife will have to get the new phone if I want to stay alive. 🙂
 
Talk about teasing! Just checked my order status and it made it to he Fedex distribution center here in New Jersey which is 15 minutes away from me and I cant get it yet
 
anyone else getting this??? 🙂

I need to buy another lightning to USB cable (I always need two) but Apple's site says it ships out in 2-3 weeks. Anyone know of any other places shipping them out immediately?

Lol after mine gets to the distribution center near my house, I'm gonna take my chances and call them to see if I can go and pick it up myself.

Same here. 3:15am EST order. Different billing address than the credit card but correct zip for CC when I ordered let it process correctly, 64gb black, payment processed, shipped, took a personal day, mw3 all day until FedEx arrives, set up phone, hit happy hour to show off the goods. happy Verizon customer.

Mine is a weird preorder. I ordered from RadioShack but they used Verizon to preorder it with the iconic device portal. I have a preorder email for both of my phones. But mine is supposed to ship to the RadioShack I ordered from.

Back during the Verizon iPhone 4 deliveries, a couple other people tried doing this. Very dependent on the location. One location gave an emphatic 'no' while another was compliant. I believe the guy uploaded a video of him going to the distribution center and picking it up on macrumors.
