Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

THat is almost exactly what mine looks like but it says tomorrow by 3pm
It worked for my iPhone 4s but who knows. Guess it depends on the mood of the driver...
I do it all the time and have not had an issue. I asked a couple of my drivers though and they said what the rules were and that it was driver discretion. I would imagine it has a higher success rate than not, but I am not trusting it. I will be here if I see it is out for delivery LOL
Generally it is 1.5 hours from the out for delivery time to my front door.

No one should get excited unless they don't get a shipping notice sometime by Thursday. Some of the late ordering on 9/14, say after 11am or so may not make the 9/21 deliver by date. Verizon will be overnighting alot of these, especially on the east coast. I'm an employee also.

Is it possible that the driver can take the signed note and steal the phone and say that he did want the note asked him to do?
Sure there is always the possibility but i wouldn't worry to much about that.

Quick question: both of my packages are sitting in Memphis right now with estimated delivery time. I'm in the greater Columbus, OH area. Do they send it out to Columbus tonight and then keep it at a local facility till Friday? Or do they wait till Thursday and then send them out Thursday night from Memphis? How does it work exactly?
I'm coming over from Sprint. I ordered the Black 64GB 15 minutes after launch. Rec'd confirmation shortly thereafter. Bank balance is ~$500 lighter for the last two days. So, I'm feeling confident. Still...no shipping notification yet.
Funny thing is, I keep refreshing the Verizon Search Order page with my reference number. I consistently get "Your order has been sent for processing.". But, I get a different Expected Ship Date. Sometimes is blank. Sometimes it says 9/21 and sometimes 9/20...lol

yes, but highly unlikely. Iphones are registered with serial numbers and such...and itd be a stupid thing to do, i mean FedEx drivers are well-paid, and given a lot of trust. He'd be throwing away his familys health insurance and his own salary for a cell phone
Yes, its also possible we'll get hit by a meteor tomorrow too. you're overthinking this.
It's more likely that someone else would walk by and steal it imo, but anythings possible

My order which was originally scheduled for 9/26 just changed to 9/21. All 9/26'ers, check your orders!
Nobody knows for sure. Mine typically goes from Memphis to Dallas and then will go out the following day. Since Memphis is already active I would be they leave tonight.

To further this point, the 2 million orders were made in the first 24 hours. But, the major carriers started running out of phones and pushing back their shipping dates after only a few hours...
Realize this folks....iPhone release dates are like Government checks. Thieves know when they will be arriving. Just use common sense.

Kidding...just the way it is listed right now. Might turn out to be an actual delivery or just an error. I am hoping for the actual though
