Verizon Iphone 5 SHIPPED! Delivery Date tomorrow?

I got the email from Verizon this morning. On the Fedex site it says expected delivery date 9/19 before 3pm. So, just knowing it has been shipped will let me sleep tonight! Any others have an expected delivery date before the 21st?

Indirect Signature is the method used for this shipment.

If the drivers is Ok with it. Again...chances are this will happen, but not all drivers will do this. I assure you this is a fact. There is a difference between areas of any city where a driver may question a note. Listen, I am not here to bust anyones bubble on this, but just be aware. If you read the help section next to the indirect required area it lists a tag. Either way....discretion of the driver and not some mystical written rule. Chances are you will be fine, but there is always the chance you don't get it that day.

I wish.... No, but just having tracking from FedEx makes me feel a lot better.... I had a fiasco yesterday when my arrival date changed from 09/21 to 10/05. I just moved - they used my Verizon account billing adress rather than the one specified on the order and didn't bother to tell me.... thank God Internet sales knew what was going on. now I can also sleep!

I received a call today from Verizon to verify that the cell phone number I want to transfer to the iphone is correct. I talked to a representative and my other line should stop working tonight, she said around 9pm, that it's the time they should have finished the proccess, so I guess maybe tomorrow I'll see a change when I check in Fedex, but yes, mine says the same, the 17th, probably what you say

That doesn't sound right. The number shouldn't transfer until you actually activate the new phone. Why would they disconnect your line tonight and leave you for two days with no phone? They best not do this to my second line...

Besides, when I upgraded to the iPhone 4, I never lost service to my line until I activated on iTunes.

All have Future delivery requested. Just that some of us have a delivery date showing as the 19th or 20th. Requested is different than Fedex doing it. Evening out the deliveries may play a bigger role

Finally got my shipping notification for delivery on 9/21! But the Verizon status says delivery for 9/20.

Just glad to finally have some info for a change.

Everyone has "Future delivery requested" on their tracking. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them did get through on the 19th or 20th because there are a LOT of phones to deliver on the 21st. They have to stagger them somewhat.

Sorry to say this guys, but nobody is going to get their phones before friday. My iPad 3 had delivery 2 days before the release according to fedex, but it got held. Apple makes damn sure nobody gets their stuff early.

Me? I had a CC authorization problem, resolved it this morning, and am still waiting for shipping confirmation.

Actually there is an official form as stated on the fedex site. Again...discretion of the driver on the hand written note. I have had success but was also told just leaving a signed note is not a guarantee they will accept it.

Do you know where the official form is on the fedex website?

Many of these posts are soooo funny. It is like Deja Vu from Feb 2011 when the iPhone 4 shipped from Verizon. There was no logical order for people getting their notifications then and there isn't now. It will eat you up worrying why you didn't get a notification yet lmao. Believe me. If you ordered fairly early on Friday you will get it by the 21st. You may not get your notification yet, but you will. Time you ordered and notifications received or even your order # have nothing to do with the email being sent your way.
