It only took...

1 sorrowful pre-order at the crack of the morning when I didn't know which way was up.
1 wrong billing address
2 times having my card decline the purchase
4 times calling my bank and Verizon to sort out the mess and get my shipping date changed back to the 21st from Oct 5th.
1 cheer for joy when I got the email my package had shipped.

Just received shipping information for location N211601. Verizon's order status claims it ships on the 20th, but my Fedex report states the 21st by 3PM.

Hope the remaining people waiting for some confirmation on their order receive news soon!
 
I'm giving up hope at getting any action on my order for tonight. Sigh :(... ship date is still 9/21 though so hopefully tomorrow morning I will wake to a status change.
 
It'll be interesting to see if people with hold requested but delivery dates of 9/19 have moved any or will move overnight, if not it's the 21st for all (most) of us.

Nope. Nothing has changed, i havent gotten charged for it either :/... I called them last night and they said everything was fine, so i guess i just have to have patience

no charges for me either. I called them tonight too to make sure everything was fine. Haha poor vzw reps. He told me it should be processed by tomorrow since it's going out in 2-day speed and i'll still get it Friday. Here's to hoping he was right.
 
Anybody from area code N215401? My order doesn't show up anywhere. I'm worried. Ordered right at 3:00 when it was available and other people are already getting their phones. This is JANK

I saw the video, it was really good but I just like the feeling of pulling the phone out of the box and removing the accessories and manuals lol.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one fantasizing about opening my iPhone package.

Yes, you pay $50 and you get a new iPhone. I think $150 is a lot cheaper for a new iPhone if you've damaged your old one beyond use rather than paying what Verizon will charge you.

I have NEVER paid $50 for a new phone when I had issues and had Apple Care. I've always walked in and back out with a new (refurb of course) phone free of charge.

Have you accidentally submerged your phone in water? If so, they will not replace that for free. Paying $50 with AppleCare+ will get you a new phone.

I'm in that location and I finally got a charge...no e-mail yet, but they did charge my CC.

Honestly though, I had another order (sent to MI) that got charged and shipped 2 days ago and it's just rotating around Memphis. Either way, I have a feeling we'll all get ours on Friday.
 
Location 1530501 is a go! My card was just charged shortly after midnight here in NY, and order status now reflects the same "sent to processing" that many of you are seeing.

No you don't need to buy it at an Apple store.

AppleCare+ must be purchased within 30 days of the date you bought your new iPhone. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ with your iPhone, you may purchase it at an Apple Retail Store. To buy AppleCare+ at an Apple Retail Store, a Genius will first need to verify your iPhone purchase date and confirm that your iPhone has no pre-existing damage.

Preordered my black 32gb at around 330am est and it said deliver by 9/21, said 9/21 all until this point where it just changed to 10/05.... Not sure why that happened but I'm not very happy either
