Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Looks like my order is moving! Location W781001, ordered about 12:20am PDT on Friday, for three iPhones. No tracking number yet, but the charge is showing up on my Amex, and the order status has changed to "your order has been sent to processing". In a way, I'm happy I wasn't one of the early shippers. Like has been noted before in the thread, my ship date has disappeared while the order is processing. I think I would have been a little worried if I didn't have others' experiences to go on! :)

Just checked FedEx and my order is moving again as of two-hours ago! It's been sitting in Memphis since this afternoon, but is currently "In Transit" :)
 
Am I the only one with location X052701?

The payment was officially charged and done yesterday. Still stuck on recieved order In process. Can't find a tracking number with any above methods. My pre order confirmation is a really long set of numbers.
 
Did all initial verizon pre-orders say "Expected Ship Date: 09/21/2012" or was this the first delay before the 9/26/2012 delay....

Also in transit, we all must be on the same train/plane/truck.

Our iPhone 5s are touching.. intimately..

Hopefully none arrive with their.. plastic wrap.. disturbed.. sexually abused iPhone 5 truck sex. AHH!
 
w00t! I can stop refreshing the Verizon Order Status page! Now I'll be hitting refresh on Fedex.com all day!:D

64GB Black from W779001 supposed to be delivered by 3pm on 9/21 FYI...
 
Finally

Ordered the 14th at 0500 and just now (Wednesday 0115 EST) had my account charged. Status changed to the tracking box but no actual number yet. I'd expect tracking info update probably later today or tomorrow but I'm all good now that the account was charged. (jax florida btw)

Finally got some movement. All week since friday the status said expected ship date: 9/21. Now just about 5mins ago. The status changed to "Your order has been sent for processing" and now the expected ship date is blank...hmmmm

Fyi: my location is 1530801

my expected ship date is 9/21/12 from Verizon. I placed my order around 1am PST through their site since I'm making the switch from AT&T.

I then ran into the problem of a "pending credit approval" which was approved around 8:30am last Friday.

The confirmation on my order still said 9/21/12 as my delivery date and checking my order on the pre-order verizon site, it still says "We received your order and it is in process"

I also haven't been charged anything...at all...not even 1 cent!



My question is...should i lose hope of actually getting Friday? If hope is lost, is life worth living? :p
 
Weird date change from 9/21 to 10/5?

What does it mean when it changes from 9/21 to 10/5 and says payment not taken? They were ordered at 5A pacific time so that should be plenty early and even so why would it not change from 9/21 to 9/26 ? Is there a reason or is Verizon just another incompetent corp ? Coming from AT&T I was hoping for a better experience.
 
My 64GB Black iP5 left Memphis (In transit) around 10PM PST. Order location: W779001. I have standard overnight shipping so it should arrive at the FedEx center near by. I'm going to try and see if I can call them to talk them into letting me pick it up. I'll state that my "replacement" phone from Verizon arrived today at your location and for some reason it is not out for delivery today. Technically speaking, it is a "replacement" phone. After all it is replacing my iPhone 4S (wish me luck on that, i'm going to need it haha).

Otherwise i'll wait until Friday, they usually deliver around 10-11am.

Is that what in transit means? I thought it would say left facility or something like that when it actually leaves Memphis.

I would be optimistic...I bet we will see a lot of phones ship out on Thursday!

I would call Internet Sales they seem to have a good handle of what is going on and are fixing a lot of peoples problems without orders getting pushed back

That's why I assumed it meant it left the facility. I think the terminology that you refer to is what UPS uses. I could be mistaken.

Edit: haha I got pwned by my ownself. I guess it should say left FedEx location. Then what does In Transit mean.
