Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Thanks I'll call them that would make sense I guess. We ordered $1200 of them and I guess it freaked the card out.
 
Please tell me I'm not the only one?

I completed my order at Apple.com for a black 64gb Verizon iPhone 5 (on a new line) and got my confirmation email at 3:12 am eastern. My shipping adress is in the northeast, if that's relevant. I cannot produce tracking information from fedex/ups using my confirmation code/cell number/home phone. I also have no iPhone 5 listed under the My Support Page. I'm not going to be a crazy an call Apple just yet, but I wanted to know if anyone else is in the same situation?

No tracking number yet, but the charge is showing up on my Amex, and the order status has changed to "your order has been sent to processing". In a way, I'm happy I wasn't one of the early shippers. Like has been noted before in the thread, my ship date has disappeared while the order is processing. I think I would have been a little worried if I didn't have others' experiences to go on! :)

You're the only other person I have seen with the same location as mine. My order is still stuck at the "We received your order and it is in process stage" but I'm hoping that changes soon. I also used an Amex but only have the $1 pre-auth charge.

That's why I assumed it meant it left the facility. I think the terminology that you refer to is what UPS uses. I could be mistaken.

I thought when I previously had stuff sent with FedEx it would say left facility when it actually left. Who knows.

Make sure you call Internet Sales they seem to be the only ones who know what the heck is going on, all the other CS reps just go "oh you're at the back of the line now"

I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered my black 64gb Verizon and got my confirmation at 12:02 PST (3:02 EST). It shows preparing for shipment but nothing shows up in the My Support Page and nothing shows up for UPS or Fedex. My guess is due to the relatively low demand for the 64gb they are being held until last as far as shipping. But who knows?

I had a similar experience - and my CC was charged tonight and the order seems to be moving forward for a Friday delivery. I'd call the Internet sales number if you need some reassurance, but if the order status says ship by 9/21, you should get it on Friday.
 
Can anyone confirm a White 64GB phone shipping from D771101?

I made 2 orders and my 32gb shipped but my 64gb is still "We received your order and it is in process"
 
Here is what my timeline was if that helps anyone out.

Preordered at 1201 pst 14 sep
Charged at 515pm cst 17 sep
Shipping conformation at 1018cst 17sep currently in Memphis.

I'm from NW Florida. 16gb black new customer

Never got a credit check alert email, nor did myfico alert me.

1 hour prior to shipping conformation my shipping date changed to 5 oct.

FedEx tracker states 21 sep by 3pm

currently in transit from memphis

Just checked the fedex site again and at 9:20 it looks like mine left the MEMPHIS, TN site and is in transit! My expected delivery date is set for tomorrow before 3pm! I'm located in California. If it does come tomorrow I think I'll make iphone 5 shaped pancakes. ;) :apple: Has any one else have seen movement for their orders expected tomorrow? Cheers to another night of not sleeping :rolleyes:

Mine is the same way but I really don't think in transit means it left the facility
 
My order was set to ship by Sept 21st. Finally was changed to "your order has been sent for processing" shipping date went away. Then came back as shipping date Oct. 5th. Then disappeared again. I'm guessing Verizon is having a blast playing with my emotions.
 
Yeah I am wondering if it will just change back too since all the way until now it was saying 9/21. Will still call them in the morning as they are closed for the night now.
 
mine still says preparing for shipment.

and it only starting showing that on sunday. (said processing before that)

it is a 16gb black on att set for 9/21 delivery.

as long as it changes by sometime thursday, i don't care.

My card hasn't been charged yet though. weird.

Yes, of 2 million pre orders, you are the only one. Now would be a good time to play lotto.
