Only thing that would worry me is it not showing up at all on your Support Page. I'd just call your carrier to double check, if you have the time.

Mine's been jumping all over the place all day. My delivery estimate is still listed as Friday though. I'm hoping that if it arrives here in LA tomorrow or Thursday that I can just call and ask to pick it up since I'm flying out of town on Friday morning and having the phone for my trip would be REALLY grand :)

That is almost exactly how mine looks except it says delivery is tomorrow by 3pm.

Interesting...the preorder thread last year only had 2665 posts...and that is including posts that happened after the initial preorder period.

Anyone's pending charge disappear? Mine was there this morning and is now gone. It has shipped though.
 
I'm going to be seriously pissed off if my iPhone isn't coming to Florida. I went out of my way to make sure the shipping address was correct, but my order LOC is M722801. Best I can tell, this is an indication that it'll be going to Kansas, my billing location. Is there a damn list od order locations posted somewhere?

That's what I get on Verizon's website when I type in my order number to track it.

Anybody else? or should I make some phone calls tomorrow?

Fedex isn't allowing anyone to change the way their order is received until after the first delivery attempt.

You'd have to wait for them to try and deliver it then ask to put it on hold.
 
Still no change on mine.. "in process" delivery for 9/21. No charges on my card yet either. Good ole D771101 :)
 
Actually i called my local Fed Ex and they are gonna hold for me so I can pick it up in morning. Im going out of town before the Fed-Ex guy comes through my neighborhood and I wanna grab it b4 I leave. I dont know if they are supposed to but she said others have been calling also.

She said as soon as I see it track to there facility to call and I can come grab it. So heres to hoping that it shows up Thursday and they let me grab. If not, I just want it Fri b4 I leave. I also dont want anyone to lose a job over a phone.
 
I ordered mine at 9:30am ET on Friday the 14th. Since then it said my ship date was 9/21. Today I got an email from my credit card company saying possible fraud attempt. I called the CC company and cleared the purchase. The credit card still has not been charged. I checked the preorder status and my ship date is now Oct 5th :( That's my birthday and that would be a cool gift, but I was really hoping to get my original ship date and get the phone at launch. I'm wondering if I should cancel the order and just go out and get the phone at my local Verizon store on Friday. I'm worried because I thought I would get the phone on 9/21 and put my old phone on ebay and it's ship date is 9/21. Now I'll be without a phone for 2 weeks! This is depressing. Oh well. First world problems.
 
How do you call your local Sorting Facility?

you should call your fedex facility - the hub it will be coming out of and ask if they can hold it there for you to pick up 1st thing in the morning - if you tell them the situation, they might let you do that. It depends on how nice the person is on the phone, but it's worth a shot!

How do you get the number for your local Facility? I tried getting the number for the one here in Seattle and it only gives me the 800 number which is the central number:(

I asked the 800 number for the local number and they said there wasn't a local number they can give me...

Ya, it seems the local hubs dont give out there number. But if you ask a rep through the 800# to put you through to them they should. Just give ghem the address of your local hub and they should transfer you. Thats how I got through to my local Fed Ex.

When lady at the local FexEx told me to call when I see the package track to them I told her i didnt have there #. And the nice lady actually called me so it showed up on ID. That was the only way she could get around giving me the # without actually saying it. Weird but very nice of her.

Looks like the in transits from memphis earlier this evening ended up back in memphis only to move again. Seems like they are shuffling them in warehouses to hold temporarily. I'm in San diego and looks like all the LA flight from memphis is airbound already so it doesnt seem like they will be arriving anytime soon.

Same crap happened to me. My date changed too, twice! Now it says not available. Still holding out hope though. I have my phones sold and promised them on Friday. Stupid CC companies.

It happened to my Amex as well. My initial status was for a shipment date of 9/21. After Amex rejected my charge, the status changed to 10/5. I called Verizon and spoke to the first customer rep. He was clueless and said that since the charge was rejected he could no longer process the order. The only way to process the order is to cancel the original order and initiate a new one which would ship on 10/5. I said to not do anything.

I called back another CSR and she was a little more knowledgeable. She said that she ran in to the same problem earlier. She initially could not manually push the payment request to Amex but found another way to trigger the payment. The charge is now showing as a pending in the Amex portal.

However, the current status in the Verizon portal changed to "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet." and the "Expected Ship Date" is now blank. I'm hoping that they will process the order now for shipment. I'll call them tomorrow to see if there's a hold up in my order and argue that it should be processed immediately since they already charged my credit card.

Wish me luck.....
