I called Internet Sales, everything on my order is in good standing. Just waiting for them to get to it.

My order confirmation email was sent at 9:18 AM Eastern so a little after the supposed 9 AM deadline for orders to get here on launch day

1 white 64 Gb and 2 white 32Gbs here.. I called the internent sales department at Verizon and my order is in good standing, just waiting to be processed. But yeah I bet the 64Gb white is holding us up.
I noticed some tracking that says 2 day delivery, whereas mine says Priority Overnight.
Anyone familiar with FedEx who can share some light on that. Mine has stopped in West Chester PA this morning at 12:19 with a "Pickup" status.
Anyone who knows FedEx think it may come tomorrow with the overnight category being added?

This is awful. I remember the iPad 3 going about the same way and I was able to walk into my local FedEx hub and have them hold the shipment for me there. I picked it up around 11am, even though tracking said on truck for delivery. Definitely more convenient as its a mile from where I work, and where I live, I wouldn't be surprised if people were driving around looking at doorsteps for small boxes assuming it to be iPhones.

about how long after they take the money from your account is it before you get an email saying your order has been shipped out with a delivery date?

Just wanted to share that some iPhone5's have shipped without a confirmation (yet!)... There are a few of us in my building that pre-ordered early morning on the 14th and have yet to get shipment confirmations. If you go to FedEx or UPS's websites, you can "track by reference" (I attached screen shots). I haven't gotten it to work using my cell phone #, but some people in the building have gotten to see their tracking information using a landline # with their shipping zip code & all that fun stuff. Apparently the phone # goes in the "Shipper Account" box.

I had the same problem with my date changing from 9/21 to 10/5. This happens if your shipping address is different from your billIng adress. Dont blame the credit card company. Verizon definetly did not think something through.
Yesterday night i talked to a verizon rep that said he will charge the phone on my account. My status changed to unavailable and blank shipping date. So i just called the internet sales department and she verified that my account was charged and that i should receive an update on tracking from fedex soon.
So for all that have had the same problem, there is still some hope. Now im going to be waiting for that tracking information inpatiently, to make sure what they told me is true. Will update once i get it.

Got my confirmation email overnight with a tracking number with Fed Ex and as everyone else, it has left West Chester. Amex still shows the full amount as a pending charge, but that usually takes a day or to.
Checked my status when I woke up this morning and it was still "Sent to processing." Took a shower, and when I got out, I had a shipping number! Will be here Friday by 3pm EDT.

Indirect signature. Meaning you can leave a Pre signed sheet and they will drop it off. It's up to the driver tho if he feels it'll be fine. Luckily, when I ordered my MacBook, I opted for expedited shipping. The day after my MacBook came, I had some cigars delivered that we're not there when I got home.

At the end of the day, this experience has been good for me. I have unsubscribed to about 20 emails that I get almost every day and never look at. Inbox is looking good, even without a shipping confirmation #
I ordered mines (black 64gig) Friday 8am via phone (full price to not lose my unlimited data), received confirmation email stating delivery date 9/21, called Visa to give them heads up of upcoming charge, and still no activity on my credit card.. Does anyone's fedex tracking information have no destination? Don't know if this has been asked as I'm on the macrumors mobile site which doesn't allow for searching the thread. I'm not really sweating it since a lot of others tracking also shows no destination, not to mention the fact that it looks like its coming to where I live.
My iPhone 5 is now in NJ on it's way yo Massachusetts! 2 more days and my iPhone 4 will be retired.

Yeah, when I ordered my MacbookPro I had them hold it at the FedEx facility because I didn't trust it sitting on my porch all day. Especially not in the outskirts of Philadelphia! HA. I'm waiting for some sort of tracking info on the phone so I can have them hold that too... :/
