Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

How about we indicate our order time, new/existing customer, cc charged, amount of phones?
3:30 am est, new, $1, 5 phones
Same here. I'm expecting it to be at some local facility by the evening today.

You can include your location ### within your post, and use the thread search tool to locate other's posts to see if their status's changed.
If you strongly feel that we should allow location spicific threads per Telco provider in the future, please let us know by opening a discussion in Site and forum feedback.

Woke up this am and had an email from Verizon with FedX info, shipped will arrive by 4:30 Friday. I ordered by phone at 7:00 am (mountain) on the 14th.
A little bit, hockey is really my sport of choice. The name is derived from the Blue Jacket logo, Ohio flag wrapping around a star.
I'm gonna take a wild guess here and assume that the Elizabeth NJ facility is actually Newark Airport (EWR). They have a bigger hub than UPS there so I wouldn't be surprised. All Elizabeth facilities are un-staffed self-service. Although, it says that Elizabeth is actually the destination which act be right. I'm confused why FedEx would do this though. Why can't they just follow usual overnight procedure and just hold the phones at the real destination. No point in wasting gas giving phones a world tour...

It's like they don't know what to do with it.
Still waiting on the full charge and tracking info. Have been following this thread for the past 36 hours, refreshing my status constantly, hoping to see a change to it. It's awful!
In any event, I ordered at 7AM ET on Friday, 32GB black, location D772001. Still just have a $1 charge on my Amex, the original "We received your order and..." message, and ship/deliver date of 9/21.
I called Amex on Monday night to let them know a charge would come through, and Verizon's internet sales number last night. Verizon said everything was fine with my order, it was just in the queue to be processed.
Really hoping to see something soon today!

Just spoke with Internet sales. She told me that my order was placed at 9:54am EST (which isn't possible because I received confirmation at 9:21am EST so I will be calling back) and that due to my order being placed after 9am EST my order wouldn't be processed until Monday 9/24 for a delivery date of 9/26. She also said that they havent ran my card yet and that any error would result in an email being sent.

Exactly why I'm leaving them. I work in NYC and my phone is useless once I get out of the tunnel.
I got my tracking info as well! I'm a happy camper now, it says will be delivered Friday the 21st by 3pm.
I was having bad dreams too, Funny ain't it.
That's crazy because I was having nightmares the last couple of days about this phone. Only in America lol.
Just got off the phone w/Internet Sales (honestly, these people are a godsend and set the bar high for how customer service should work)...
apparently a bunch of people in our zone's phones have been with FedEx and are coming on 9/21, they're just late in sending over the tracking numbers. She did say that they are in transit thought and waiting for FedEx to give tracking # so they can pass them on to us.
