Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

What the hell? My FedEx tracking shows 8 total entries so far, all in Memphis! What are they doing down there, playing hot potato with my phone?
I'm one of us with an Expected Delivery of 9/19
Last event was in transit in Memphis at 2:41am Eastern Time today. Normally this would be the departure from the hub to my regional hub and then on to the local destination facility.
I typically see that info by 8:30. Not seeing any of it, so my guess is somewhere along the way as the package was being scanned, it was flagged for delivery in the 21st even though it says the 19th.
Anyone with a 19th expected delivery date have any progress to their destination sort facility, etc...?

Last year on 4S, no one got charged until Wednesday and we all received tracking info Wednesday evening. Chill. There is still two days, they just started earlier because of more volume.
i ordered my 64gb at 4:30am est... mine is in the same location which i believe is west chester (where i live)... i don't even have a pending charge on my credit card. so you're not alone

I woke up hoping it really happened. It didn't. I am mess over this phone lol.
Last night my order status was still "in process" and my card had not yet been charged. I woke up this morning to my FedEx tracking number, confirmation of delivery on Friday by 3pm, and a charge on my debit card.
I ordered a 32gig black iPhone 5 around 9:00am, fwiw.

12pm as in Noon? and you are going to get yours on launch day? I ordered at 11am and I haven't seen nothing other than a 9/26 ship/departure date and no credit card anything... this is bs.

AmEx is alright with me
I pay my kids' Verizon bill with my AmEx and I am switching myself over from AT&T to Verizon. I'm adding a line. I ordered a white 32g and AmEx STILL flagged my charge as fraud.
No prob, though. I called. They fixed it. My phone is on its way.
All is well.

So I should wait until tonight to get some sort of tracking information. That's cool..
Now it says delivery 9/21/12, and I know FedEx typically ships at 10am est, and 3pm est...
so if I don't get tracking information today.. THEN what? expect it the 28th?

My phone is at my local Fed Ex facility, it originated from West Chester, PA so it didn't have to go far. It still says Delivery Date 9/21 before 3pm and it also says "future delivery requested" so I guess I won't be seeing it until friday.

woke up this morning, still no tracking number and only a $1 pending charge to my cc. Both cc company and verizon said nothing was holding it up. I am still hoping it comes on friday, 9/21, as stated in the initial email confirmation that I got when I first ordered the phone.
Mine tracking says the same but I think it went from there main hub to a branch or different area to be put on the truck/plane to get to its location

Someone said in the other thread that they're finding some phones have already been shipped but no tracking number has been set. Did you by any chance switch to VZW for iPhone 5 from another carrier? I'm coming from AT&T so I'm wondering if "new" customers are not getting their tracking numbers while existing are.
nope, been with verizon for like 10yrs. Wont go near AT&T, they are horrible in NYC.
If you guys have an "In transit" entry from sometime during the early morning (1am-3am), then I think that actually means it's going out to your local sorting facility.
