Just got off the phone w/Internet Sales (honestly, these people are a godsend and set the bar high for how customer service should work)...

apparently a bunch of people in our zone's phones have been with FedEx and are coming on 9/21, they're just late in sending over the tracking numbers. She did say that they are in transit thought and waiting for FedEx to give tracking # so they can pass them on to us.

What order location is this? The darn mods merged the independent location threads into one.:mad: Now I am confused even more as it is.
 
My current order status is "we received your order and it is currently being processed" I called verizon bc my cc was charged yet.

I order first thing Friday morning but had to over the phone bc my card got rejected online due to the card being in a diff name then the main account holder.

The rep told me that bc i ordered it over the phone that they wont be shipping it out until the 9/21 and i will get it tuesday and if i did it online i would have had it friday.

This is BS anyone else order over the phone and receive a confirmation or tracking number?

Im so pissed, they suggested i cancel and reorder online. how stupid can they be then i wouldnt receive it until Oct.... I have a manager calling me back shorty

I ordered over the phone around 11am EST on the 14th and received my order confirmation and everything but it is saying 9/26 for me....

My address has Avenue at the end, I normally always put Ave. for short but my shipping address shows Av instead lol, will there be a problem? I'm just crazy and overthinking this but sure I'll be fine.
 
Anyone else from the south jersey/Philly area? My FedEx status changed from west Chester PA to Elizabeth, NJ was wondering why it might have gone farther away?

Mine originated from the same place as yours and also moved to Elizabeth, NJ and is on its way to Massachusetts! 2 more days! :)
 
Just spoke with Internet sales. She told me that my order was placed at 9:54am EST (which isn't possible because I received confirmation at 9:21am EST so I will be calling back) and that due to my order being placed after 9am EST my order wouldn't be processed until Monday 9/24 for a delivery date of 9/26. She also said that they havent ran my card yet and that any error would result in an email being sent.

Not what I was hoping for!

NEVER get of the phone with them until you get all of your questions answered. Go word for work with them with supported proof [emails] that you've gotten from them.


Yesterday, they sent a mass text message to mellow customers. [at least I was told it was sent to many

"FREE VZW MSG- DO NOT REPLY: Iphone 5 order scheduled to deliver by Oct 5th."

So I personally called and told them "no, this isn't how it says here, it says 9/21".

I personally think them taking your money, WITHOUT sending you a tracking number to follow is pretty crappy. They took my money this morning, and I don't have tracking, so I'm left to just believe in Verizon to get it done. So since my money is in jeopardy, and they can just on a whim say "it'll be here on the 28th".. I'm calling and bugging the hell out of them.

Sure.. I can be refunded, but at this stage in the game... I cancel the charge.. wont return back to my account for 3-4 days, then go stand in a Verizon Wireless line, and try to do it all over
 
It's moving again!

Weird, the activity that happened at around 1:30 am in the history of my shipment disappeared, like someone went in a manually removed it.

I get this feeling that someone or the normal process keeps trying to ship it and then it comes of future post.

It's only a matter of time that someone makes a sweet, sweet mistake and lets this puppy through. Come on Thursday, poppa needs a new pair of shoes!

I don't know man. I've heard of fedex drivers being extremely picky about the abbreviation of road, street, avenue, way, etc.

You may have to go to the hub to pick it up or it may actually end up at your neighbors house out of spite.

I ordered through Verizon Business online with an AmEx card on 9/14 at 5:15am. No charge on my card yet. When I log into my Verizon acct it just says high demand delivery date 9/21/12.
This is not fun!
 
Ordered a Black 64GB iPhone on 9/14 at 6:30AM ET.

Last night I called Verizon because i hadn't seen ANY activity. Internet sales let me know that because I ordered over the phone I would not have received a confirmation e-mail. She assured me that the order was fine and that I would get the phone on 9/21.

Verizon initiated the CC charge at 12:35AM this morning. Still in pending on my account. I called 2 days ago and let chase know to expect it so there shouldn't be any problem.

Status has the order sent in for processing. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long before I get a tracking#, anyone know?

Looks like they are starting to get to the 64's... must have been at the bottom of the box!
 
I had a $1 pending transaction since friday. Heard all these rumors about amex causing issues but didn't think it would happen to me since I had the 1$ pending. Low and behold, last night I get a fraud alert email from Amex. Call Amex and get the flag taken down. Go back to the preorder status website and then it said Expected Delivery 10/5. Payment not taken. Called the Internet Sales number and had them rerun my card. She said I would still get it on 9/21. Today I see the full charge pending in amex and I have a receipt within "My Verizon" that says two day shipping. No official shipping email yet from Verizon though or Fedex number. Deets below:

Ordered 7:30am central 9/14
32GB black
ACE Location: 0862001
Seven digit order number (not that this matters)

I think the issue is that initially these pending charges are showing up as "CELLCO PARTNERSHIP" for some people and AMEX flags it. If in doubt, call amex and internet sales.
 
I ordered at 12:10am pacific time Friday morning and received shipping email on the 17th. The FedEx tracking number still finds no orders when I check it on FedEx.com. I called Verizon this morning and was told its good it was assigned a tracking number but its not shipping until tomorrow so FedEx won't have info on the tracking number until tomorrow when it ships?

Does that make sense? Shouldn't fedex at least show where it's going or expected delivery date or something?? I simply has no idea what the tracking info is and said its not found like it doesn't exist. Verizon's website and the email said it shipped, but they are telling me on the phone that it won't ship until tomorrow even though it was assigned a FedEx tracking number on the 17th...

Your thoughts??

Don't overthink it. Verizon is also abbreviating "boulevard" to just "BL" instead of the USPS standard "BLVD". Not a big deal. Anybody looking at that knows what it is. The zip+4 code is also there, and it's hard for anyone to screw up a shipment when they have that.

Yes, that's what it looks like until the tracking number comes in. My order status looked like that for about 8 hours.
 
Does any body know why my iPhone is being shipped backwards? It's being delivered to Elizabethtown, PA. It originated in West Chester, then went to Coatsville which is 45 miles away. Now it is in Elizabeth NJ. What's going on?

I didn't know the time of my email but I knew I ordered right around 9am EST so I came back to my desk and checked and sure enough. 9:21 EST. I'll call back in a bit. See what the next person says.
 
Chicago, IL here. Location N211401. My order shipped last night! Delivery for 9/21/12, although it says Overnight delivery and it's moving around in Memphis, TN as of right now. Can't wait! :D

So typically it takes about eight hours to get a tracking number from them after they charge your card? Alrighty..
