I ordered at 12:10am pacific time Friday morning and received shipping email on the 17th. The FedEx tracking number still finds no orders when I check it on FedEx.com. I called Verizon this morning and was told its good it was assigned a tracking number but its not shipping until tomorrow so FedEx won't have info on the tracking number until tomorrow when it ships?
Does that make sense? Shouldn't fedex at least show where it's going or expected delivery date or something?? I simply has no idea what the tracking info is and said its not found like it doesn't exist. Verizon's website and the email said it shipped, but they are telling me on the phone that it won't ship until tomorrow even though it was assigned a FedEx tracking number on the 17th...

in 'march with my ipad 3, i had the same issue. YOu'll get it! they store all the devices at a fedex warehouse. When someone purchases the device, verizon marks down that serial in the system as purchased assigns a ref #, sends the info to fedex thjey give them a tracking #, then they have to go and physically scan the product to initiate it. "pick it up"
there are thousands of them that they have to hand sort. yours must be at the bottom of the barrel
notice how mine is picked up in memphis (warehouse location) .
your tracking # will prob start working by thursday. dont worry happened to me before!
