I had a $1 pending transaction since friday. Heard all these rumors about amex causing issues but didn't think it would happen to me since I had the 1$ pending. Low and behold, last night I get a fraud alert email from Amex. Call Amex and get the flag taken down. Go back to the preorder status website and then it said Expected Delivery 10/5. Payment not taken. Called the Internet Sales number and had them rerun my card. She said I would still get it on 9/21. Today I see the full charge pending in amex and I have a receipt within "My Verizon" that says two day shipping. No official shipping email yet from Verizon though or Fedex number. Deets below:

I think the issue is that initially these pending charges are showing up as "CELLCO PARTNERSHIP" for some people and AMEX flags it. If in doubt, call amex and internet sales.

I still have zero tracking information on my phone and now I'm getting a "Your order has been sent for processing" with no expected ship date. This changed from yesterday when it was 9/21 as promised.
I've called Verizon twice in the last two days and they still cannot get me information on what is going on. My credit card has still not been charged.

DMW16, Do you have a pending charge on your credit card? If it is only for 1$ or $0 I would just call them and make sure they are aware that you will be getting a charge for ($XXX round up to whole number) from either VZW, Verizon, or CELLCO PARTNERSHIP and that it will be a legitimate charge. You can also call verizon internet sales at (866) 338-7390. They know what is going on. I had to call them last night because I got a fraud alert.Now I'm starting to get concerned. My order has been sitting at "We received your order and it is in process." with no charge or pre-auth on my Chase credit card. I've bothered Verizon twice and they assure me i'll be receiving the phones on Friday.
I'm trying to be patient here, but seeing everyone else having an order is annoying.
