Now I'm starting to get concerned. I've seen no change since I placed my order at 10AM on 9/14.

I have a confirmation email with order number 71xxx from D772001. I called Verizon yesterday and was just told "everything is fine" and they are sending tracking out in batches.

But at what point should my order start to move?

It's overnight shipping... there is no need to really worry until tomorrow but they have given no indication that there will be a problem getting all the 9/21 orders out

Anyone with this location code had any movement? I ordered over phone at 3:20am Friday, September 14th. Called Verizon twice. First call they said would be delivered by 21st. Next time, All they could say was in process and shipping the 21st. No charges pending yet to debit card. Anyone have any insight?
 
spam from "chase"

Oh boy, Just got two emails in my spam folder from "Chase" saying "Chase Fraud Alert".... I don't own a Chase Card or bank with Chase....Obviously a spam email... That would be a mean way to unleash a virus...Probably from some guy that bought the S3. :D
 
Now.. if they can verify your address... can't they also give you a tracking number?

huh this was if you have a tracking # and are worried that it doesnt show your destination.

if you dont have a tracking #, then they cant make one for you?
if you in fact have a tracking # and you think verizon is failing to give it to you, then yes im sure you can call fedex and give them the address and name on the package and they will give you the tracking #
 
Wish that the iPhone could be delivered tomorrow as its my work from home day! Hopefully I'll be able to work something out on Friday so I dont miss delivery
 
Just to make sure.

I ordered two iPhone 5's and got tracking numbers for both but one starts with 8 4769XXXXXXXX and the other is 3 4769XXXXXXXX , will this be one package with both phones inside? All the numbers match except for the 8 and 3 in the beginning of both.
 
DMW16, Do you have a pending charge on your credit card? If it is only for 1$ or $0 I would just call them and make sure they are aware that you will be getting a charge for ($XXX round up to whole number) from either VZW, Verizon, or CELLCO PARTNERSHIP and that it will be a legitimate charge. You can also call verizon internet sales at (866) 338-7390. They know what is going on. I had to call them last night because I got a fraud alert.

I called my CC company yesterday and they said there were no fraud alerts or stops, but also no pending charge to my card at this point.

I do a lot of online shopping so I doubt they'd flag it, and they said if there was a charge like that I'd be contacted.

I realize it isn't a rush to get it out today since they are doing overnight shipping, but it's a little frustrating seeing others getting tracking and not having one yet. But the fact that there are others in the same boat makes me feel better.
 
Still waiting for my money to be taken out. My delivery/shipping date still says 9/26. I also ordered a case and car charger through Verizon. The rep said he would pot those on my bill. My question now is I'm sure they will shop separate, but so far only one shipping notice.

Seriously, people, relax. They've been through plenty of pre-sales, you'll get your phone. The systems don't always update in a timely manner and, yes, there are occasional glitches. But I ordered my 4S and my "new" iPad on the first day and they both arrived right on schedule.

Take a deep breath and calm down.
 
Did anyone pre-order in the store? My order is all messed up. CSR tell me that the Verizon stores are not authorized to pre-order before 9/21. I received a confirmation email stating deliver by 9/21. Then the online system changed my shipping date to 10/5. CSR is telling me that there is nothing they can do. And it was a mess up on the Verizon store's end. I'm furious! Right now my order on Verizon's website says "Your order has been sent for processing" And the shipping date has disappeared.

Same thing with me and a few others. One guy said it fixed itself and is now back to 9/21. Hopefully that's what will happen for all of us.
 
First everyone was going crazy that they haven't received their tracking confirmation, now that mostly everyone has it, it's still not good enough lol.

With that being said, my order was picked up at the West Chester, PA location since 3:05am without any transit, am I still good lol?

Oh no!! That measn they are shipping it back to Apple!! LOL ;)

The 8 and the 3 mean nothing. the 4769 number is your tracking number. I had the same thing on two of my phones.

That would be a load of crap. I pre-ordered the droid x when it was available to do so in store. Had it sent straight to the hotel I was staying at that evening.
 
Finally received my tracking number at 9:54AM central. It had been stuck on the "Order is being processed. Payment has not been taken." since the AMEX "Fraud" issue.

The Order Status page (instead of the preorder), if you insert the Preorder Confirmation number has the tracking number as well. The Preorder page is showing it is "in processing" now, with no tracking number.
 
It is truly laughable how much some of you are panicking over every little detail. My God. I've never seen anything like it.
 
Mines in transit since 1:40am, you think it's coming to my hub or still messing with it in Memphis?

I've heard nothing.

I ordered 2 16gb black and 1 64gb black at 3:05am (est), i rec'd confirmation at about 3:15am. Order # = 67xxx, Location = D772101.

My order has been sitting at "We received your order and it is in process." with no charge or pre-auth on my Chase credit card. I've bothered Verizon twice and they assure me i'll be receiving the phones on Friday.

I'm trying to be patient here, but seeing everyone else having an order is annoying.

Same here- ordered online and got confirmation before 3:30 eastern. My order includes 1 16gb black and 1 64 gb white, same location, same message, same type of credit card with no charge or pre-authorization.

Considering there are a bunch of D772101s in the same boat, I'm not too worried. I called internet sales yesterday and they confirmed that my pre-order was fine and that my card would not be charged until the phone shipped. Like others have mentioned, my guess is that we're near a hub and they don't have to prioritize these shipments like ones that may have to travel further.

If I never have to see that message again it'll be a happy day. Still have 09/21 ship date. No CC charges, no pre-auth charges, nothing...

Today has to be the day something happens. right???
