Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

East ATL .GA ... i got my confirmation email mins after my order. But nothing after that

and last year with new ipad, i got mine just fine on friday because i had it sent to my work, but my roomate had his sent home. he went to the hub on saturday and picked it up.

I'm talking about this year, with the 3rd gen, not last year. i double checked and it was actually UPS that delivered mine. So this applied to UPS and its the story that UPS told me when I tried to have it held for pickup. Good to know it may not be an issue this year.
 
So I pre-ordered from the store on 9/14. My order was set for 9/21 then changed to 10/5 and Verizon told me to disregard the 10/5 date. And probably an hour later I received shipping and tracking info. So I'm guessing if your confirmation email said deliver by 9/21. Then you are getting it on 9/21. It seems like Verizon is having a ton of problems with their system.

Oh btw after my screen changed to "Your order has been sent for processing" It was a good 12 hours before I got my tracking email.

same exact thing with me hahaha. I live in charlotte, I could drive to memphis in a few hours and save them the hassle :D

It's been leaving the origin FedEx facility and being picked up at the local FedEx facility several times since 10:30am yesterday morning :confused:

The fact that this phone is so hot this year, Apple made sure that FedEx doesn't start delivery until Friday.

I'm W211501. I'm also hoping that mine gets bumped up to Friday. My last Apple pre-order did. If I knew where was the geographical location of the warehouse that might be a clue.

i'm very interested in all these people saying their phone is expected the 20th. I got the 4 like 3 days early so i figured/hoped/prayed they stagger deliveries again this time.

Yeah mine is going to Raleigh...the tracking is confusing it was in transit then picked up by the local facility but still in Memphis...

So I ordered at 3:00 am EST and I am chatting with a Verizon rep saying that they won't be here til sept 28. Becaus elf back order. Someone tell me if this is real or not, wtf?!

Verizon and Apple fulfill stuff differently I hope they move it up although from what people are telling me its not going to happen... but who really knows anything? right.... I am in Kentucky by the way...

I had the whole fraudulent charge thing happen to me. I called Online services this AM and she said she just processed my order. I even received an email right after the call saying my order has been processed and it can't be changed. It also said my order had been shipped with a fed ex link but no tracking number. When I check my credit card to see if a charge has been made it still isn't there. My portal still says it's being processing but not charged. WTH is going on? I have a shipping email but no tracking number.

It is a good possibility that some might be delivered tomorrow, cause I know some preorders come a day or two before but honestly don't think it'll happen with this almighty iPhone 5 lol.
 
forgot walking dead issue 102 came out today. wahoooo that will keep me from checking this thread and fedex tracking for idk 20 min? :p

I think the nearest FedEx Depot is in Durham. I recently had a package delivered to Chapel Hill and the most recent status update was out for delivery —Durham, NC.

So I don't think I'll be getting my phone until 12-1 :( I was hoping to pick it up at 10-11ish before class. *sigh*
 
I have a question maybe someone can help me with. If I were to click the "Modify Payment" button on the verizon order status page, would this screw up my order? Is it possible to switch payment methods like this?

Don't believe what you were told. I ordered the 32 GB black :apple:iP5 at 10:30 AM. I got my Fedex tracking number (to area W779001) for guaranteed delivery Friday, 9/21 as of this morning.

Hang in there...:)

There has to be some sort of staging for the release. The might start moving tomorrow from a local hubs. ( I hope)

my address has 'bend' at the end and abbreviate it as bnd but my shipping address only has it as BN lol
