Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I placed my order at 8:30a EST on launch day and I have yet to receive tracking... just the classic "09/21" and "order is in processing".... I have a location of D771901. I live in Western New York.

Fun fun fun... took a half day Friday so I could be home for the delivery... hopefully it won't be a waste! Time will tell!

I have the same location code, hopefully we'll get them soon.

On FedEx, it says that it will be here on the 21st, but if I check the status on Verizon, the expected ship date is the 20th. Should I be anticipating my phone for tomorrow? Btw, it's currently in Elizabeth NJ, which is a mere 20 minutes away from me!

Soloswagga, I'm in the same situation in So Cal. I have more faith in the Fedex expected delivery date. Let's put it this way, if Fedex follows Apple's directive perfectly, we'll get our phones on 9/21.
 
Well my estimated delivery was by 3pm today. Interesting that as of 3 pm, the status switched from"on schedule" to "in transit" and the estimated delivery date no longer shows on the FedEx tracking info.

With all this time in Laying over at the FedEx hub, 3D flyover in maps better have kickass detail of Memphis. :D

Me as well, and I agree... there's likely very little chance of that happening unless fedex screws up.

I am hoping so.. I mean I didn't read all 180 pages or so of this thread, but I am guessing no matter what research you do, we will get it when we get it.... and most likely on Friday.

This is a really good point. But for some of us cranky iPhone 4 users (4S holdouts), we've been waiting for 1 year+ for this thing. So arrive already!!
 
Okay now the "expected ship date" is once again blank!

The preorder.verizonwireless page earlier didn't show any expected ship date, but I just checked it again and now it shows shipping by 9/28. But the order status page (linked from the confirmation email) still shows "your order will ship by 9/21". So I don't think that their systems are all in sync.

I'm holding out hope that it ships tonight or tomorrow and gets to me on Friday...

Vzw you're really testing my patience with this whole order received and in process. Unfortunately for me you don't give a damn. Sigh...
 
Yeah, I'm in the same boat with the business account. My order still shows as "Awaiting inventory", so I really have no idea what to think about me getting my phone on Friday or not. Just seems like the business page is just outdated and poorly managed in general.

Yeah, exactly. Apple handed over a bunch of phones to Verizon and said, don't let these get out before 9/21. Verizon handed them to FedEx and said, we can't let these get out before 9/21. So, FedEx won't let them out before 9/21.
 
I ordered shortly after 3am EST and received my order confirmation for a Black 64gb iPhone. New to Verizon, switching from ATT. I've not yet received a shipping notice or hit on my credit card. Calls to Verizon both yesterday and today had CSRs that reassured me that it will still be delivered by 9/21 but it worries me that everyone is getting tracking numbers and shipping confirmations.
Also, using the pre order tracking on their site reveals a delivery date of 9/26! :eek:

I'm not sure what to do. I've already called twice today and received the "everything looks good on this end" spiel. Not sure what else to do. :(

Anyone else in the same boat?
 
My order expected shipment date went from 9/21 then my payment didn't go threw so it changed to 10/05. I just called today to change my payment type and the sales rep said it would still arrive wither friday or monday. I kept hiting refresh on the Verizon preorder page and it changed to 9/28 for a few seconds then I hit refresh again and it went to blank. I hope I get my tracking # soon. I initially placed the preorder on 9/14 3am est. anyone out there with W779301 location?
