I've been refreshing the Verizon status page constantly for almost the last 48 hours, and finally, progress!

There's a pending charge with Amex too.

For reference, I'm in location D772001, ordered a black 32GB at 7AM ET.

I could pretty much quote this exact post right now. Same thing happend to me. Same exact details.
 
Amex finally got charged for the full price just now (been sitting at $1 pre-auth since the 14th). No change on the verizon pre-order tracking site yet though...

I'd imagine you'll see it soon. I've been checking both my Amex account and that status page at the same time, so they both changed within a few minutes of each other for me.
 
Finally some movement on White 64gb. Received confirmation at 3:14 am EST and just went to processing and hit credit card. Location D772101 for all those looking for updates from that location. :D

Looks like the NJ/NY/PA orders are starting to get pushed out!

Okay so I ordered my phone friday morning around 10am eastern time. The website said at the time orders would be delivered by the 21st, got my confirmation email saying delivery by 9/21. Called today after seeing no movement and was told there was a problem with my card and that I would receive an email later today with directions to call and get my card issue sorted out but she told me she couldn't do that herself. A bit later I called again to get a second opinion since I have been told so many different things. This guy told me that he could update my card info so I gave him the correct info and he said it updated and had an expected ship/delivery date of 9/26. I asked why it had been pushed back and he said it was because of my order time. This is fine but why did everything up to this point tell me the 21st? That was the only reason I went ahead with the preorder instead of lining up on friday. Anyways I expressed my disapproval and he told me there was nothing he could do except cancel it for me and I could try to get it Friday morning. I decided not to cancel it yet just incase there was still hope. A few minutes after I hung up my status finally changed to "your order has been sent to processing". Could this mean it is still going through for friday or are some of the 26th orders just starting to go through? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

CT Here. No tracking information yet and Ship by date is blank so nothing different than previous posters.
 
Yes!!! Finally, status changed to "Your order has been sent for processing" on VZ and there's the pending charge for the whole amount on CC. Location D771001 in NYC. White 64G to NYC. :D

Still waiting on my tracking number. It only went to processing in the last 20 minutes ago or so. From other people in this thread, it sounds like it can take a few hours to get tracking info. Regardless, it's really good to actually see a change of some kind.
 
Update on my order Location D772101-Ace Order# 73***

Just called internet sales approx 20 mins ago asking about my order to make sure I didn't get the CC Fraud Flag from Chase and was told I'd see a charge by 2pm tomorrow the latest..just looked at my credit card and it got charged and the preorder status screen changed to order sent for processing and blank ship date, courier and track number...looks like I'm gonna get mine Friday after all! :)
 
I am here in Brooklyn, NY and the location on my confirmation is also D771001 with order number within 16XXXX range. Also no updates aside from confirmation e-mail. Hopefully this hub is somewhere in NYC or close by and VZW is trying to save on shipping by sending them ground. In any case, I will call Verizon if I don't get any updates by tonight. Has anyone else from this hub seen any updates?
All right, my order is finally getting somewhere. Just changed to "Your order was sent for processing". Checked the bank web site, the credit card is also showing a pending charge for the full price of the phone. Coincidentally, about a minute after I checked my credit card transactions online, I received an automated call from my bank as well asking to verify activity for the past few days, including the charge from VZW for iPhone 5. Good they called my cell as I am not home right now, that way shipment preparations can go on without further delay.
 
I ordered shortly after 3am EST and received my order confirmation for a Black 64gb iPhone. New to Verizon, switching from ATT. I've not yet received a shipping notice or hit on my credit card. Calls to Verizon both yesterday and today had CSRs that reassured me that it will still be delivered by 9/21 but it worries me that everyone is getting tracking numbers and shipping confirmations.
Also, using the pre order tracking on their site reveals a delivery date of 9/26! :eek:

I'm not sure what to do. I've already called twice today and received the "everything looks good on this end" spiel. Not sure what else to do. :(

Anyone else in the same boat?

This is my story as well. Black 16GB & White 32GB, new customer from At&t, ordered at 3:16am EST, no confirmation, no shipping notice, no charges, pre order website states 9/26, every Verizon Rep says 9/21 don't worry. I'm worried, I'm leaving town 9/25 for two weeks.

I think it was the white 64gb that was holding us all up. Glad they got them in finally. I was swimming in a pool of sweat all day hitting the refresh button.

This is my order location also (and approximately similar order time of 8:15am) and I have not yet received tracking info. That said, the CSR at Verizon I spoke with today advised that they are processing most of these overnight and possibly into tomorrow morning. If you don't see anything or get a confirmation email by 2pm eastern time on 9/20, then give them a call. That is what they advised just an hour or so ago.

My card just got charged! So happy now! I will post when I get my tracking info!
 
Weird, I was told the opposite, that they couldn't change the address until it is shipped and they can re-route the package to the new address.

Oh, reps.

This is what I was told and what was done. They just send a new updated ticket to fedex is all.

Same location and at 7:36pm today got the alert from Chase that I was finally charged by verizon. Now just refreshing to see a tracking number. :)
 
"Sent for processing," card charged and receipt available on myverizon.com. Praise God. Never been so happy to see a $700 charge post to my account.

After millions of F5's my order status finally changed to:
We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet.

Thank God for this thread or I wouldn't have known that means it triggered a fraud hold. Just got off the phone with Capital One and I'm on hold with the VZW internet orders number now.

I'm actually pretty hopeful about this turn of events as previous posts in this thread have stated that once they cleared up the fraud hold and pushed payment through, they immediately got their tracking emails.

FYI: Ordered 2 black 16gbs at 9:50am ET on 9/14 and expected ship date has been 9/21 until just now when it got pushed to 10/5 after the hold.
 
Order sent for processing location 1526901 ship date disappeared which seems to be the norm
 
I'm just glad the delay isn't similar to the white iPhone 4 ... that took a looooong while to resolve. Now on to waiting for the tracking # :p
