Okay so I ordered my phone friday morning around 10am eastern time. The website said at the time orders would be delivered by the 21st, got my confirmation email saying delivery by 9/21. Called today after seeing no movement and was told there was a problem with my card and that I would receive an email later today with directions to call and get my card issue sorted out but she told me she couldn't do that herself. A bit later I called again to get a second opinion since I have been told so many different things. This guy told me that he could update my card info so I gave him the correct info and he said it updated and had an expected ship/delivery date of 9/26. I asked why it had been pushed back and he said it was because of my order time. This is fine but why did everything up to this point tell me the 21st? That was the only reason I went ahead with the preorder instead of lining up on friday. Anyways I expressed my disapproval and he told me there was nothing he could do except cancel it for me and I could try to get it Friday morning. I decided not to cancel it yet just incase there was still hope. A few minutes after I hung up my status finally changed to "your order has been sent to processing". Could this mean it is still going through for friday or are some of the 26th orders just starting to go through? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Hey man, it sounds like they were treating you like you lost your place in line. I ordered my 32 GB black iP5 at 10:35 AM Friday. My credit card was 'charged' late last night (temp auth), the Verizon status changed to "your order has been sent to processing" and within a couple hours I had my Fedex tracking number for delivery this Friday., 9/21. Keep the faith. "Order sent for processing" means you're close.
 
Processing!!! Finally!!

Just saw my credit card got charged (after signing in and seeing there was a fraud alert...despite the fact that I called about it this morning to warn it was coming). My order status now says "sent for processing"!! Finally...I was getting so frustrated today (I know, I know...but I'm excited)!! :D

I am in south western PA if that helps anyone out or gives any one hope!
 
Mine appears to be shipping two-day, which, in my experience, is handled the same as overnight from Memphis to Omaha...
 
This is my story as well. Black 16GB & White 32GB, new customer from At&t, ordered at 3:16am EST, no confirmation, no shipping notice, no charges, pre order website states 9/26, every Verizon Rep says 9/21 don't worry. I'm worried, I'm leaving town 9/25 for two weeks.

As soon as wrote this, my status changed to sent for processing and my card has been charged! I'm hopeful :D
 
That doesn't sound right, from what I gather other people got flagged but was able to clear up the situation with their CC without losing their place in line. Maybe try to call VZ again to get a different rep?

I am so upset. My cc was flagged and Verizon tells me that kicked me out of line and now my ship date is October 5th!! She said there is no way to restore the 9/21 delivery. :-(
 
If you were in my situation and didnt have a tracking number try calling Verizon and ask. That's the only way I got mine

Call internet sales not customer service. Phone number has been given numerous times.

Does anyone have the Internet sales #? The amount was deducted from my balance, but it isn't listed as a transaction yet.
 
when I called to verify, all they could tell me they could see was the zip code...that's it.

Hmm weird they had mine, maybe the csr you spoke to is dumb. They wouldn't tell me it i had to verify it

chase.com showing $400 less on my available credit!

It's a very good sign. Your credit card was also probably just charged.

I would say you have a good chance of it. Most peoples goes right from sent to processing to tracking number.
