So my tracking info says my phone is at my local FedEx. Seeing as that FedEx doesn't deliver on Saturday, I'd like to just pick up my phone tmw. Were any of you able to pick up your phone from a FedEx store?

If so, how did u find out what FedEx location your phone is at?

FedEx delivers on Saturday quite a bit.
 
Ok I'm a bit late on the iPhone order but are the Verizon iPhone 5 soldout right now ? I can't see any delay informations on their website. Thanks for your help.
 
Mine (64gb Black) came dead on arrival. The camera would not open from shutter image. When it did screen pixelated and froze. Complete nightmare. Went to apple ( as Verizon sold out of course) to be told they don't swap Verizon bought phones. 2+ hour story short, Had to re-buy a new one (literally the last black one they had) and have to return to Verizon. The DOA one. Barely an apology let alone at first offered to give me a refurb 5?!! On street date. As an iPhone customer since first gen and upgrade to each new on release date this has been a crap experience so far
 
Transfer upgrade to another line

This worked for me to transfer the upgrade without any pain.

First of all DO NOT DO ANYTHING when you get the phone.

Call VZ tech support at 1-866-221-4096 and tell them that you want to transfer your upgrade.

The tech told me that lot of people tried to activate on their own and it messed up the SIM so that makes process longer and hectic.

The entire process, including wait time took less then 5 minutes for me.

That's crazy I know they will fix a phone even if you bought it at your carrier. They replaced my 4S for me last year...must be because its launch day or something.

The three other iPhones that are on it (4, two 4S) had it show up right away after we switched but today after my iPhone 5 got activated on it the hotspot won't show up and I get the "call to activate this feature" on it :(

Anybody know a fix/ have the same problem?

I would try calling them they might have to do something on their end. It works for me fine.

when i got my iphone 5 today and needed to activate it on another line i just went to vzw.com and used the transfer line feature. I then selected the line that I wanted to activate a new device under and the system prompted me for my billing password. Then the system asked me to turn off my 4s and then confirm the last four of my social. I clicked submit and thats it the iphone 5 was activated on a different line. pretty easy if you ask me.

Go the 5 yesterday. Fired it up at 6pm. Fast phone. Maps are fine. Been using maps since Wednesday. No issues. Phone looked fully charged out of the box. Fairly heavy use for 5 hours last night. Left unplugged all night. Holding g a good charge.

LTE Combined with the processor power makes this one smooth phone.

Also....IMO you can feel that there is no glass layer on top when u are using the keyboard.

I used the transfer upgrade on verizons website and I ordered the phone using that, will I need to do this is will it automatically go to my line?

I had the same problem on my 4 a while back. You need to call tech support, they need to provision your number for tethering, sometimes it doesn't work right automatically.
 
I ordered my phone around 5pm EST on the 14th. The "delivered" by date at that time was 9/28. Has anyone else with a deliver by of the 28th heard anything from verizon yet?

Blown away by LTE on VW speeds. I'm in Chicago, Old Irving Park Area.

Image 1409 is VW and 1410 is comcast performance package. You can see it is almost beating Comcast on both up and down consistently!

Its crazy, I sold my 4s for 350, and brought the iphone 5 for 200. I made 150 bucks just by upgrading to the latest device.
 
Problem with American Express & Verizon charge

American Express called me today thinking that the Verizon charge was fraudulent. I assured them it was not but they declined the charge and the customer service rep said this is happening over the new iphone orders today from Verizon, some problem with Verizon. I am on hold with Verizon customer service and the automated system now says it will ship by October 19th! (I originally had a Sept. 26th ship date). Anyone else have this problem with American Express?

I haven't heard anything about American Express, but I've heard that Chase was getting alerts like this.
