Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I've had the same "We have received your order and it is in process." message since day one.

I was able to play with a 4S and 5 next to one another yesterday in a VZW store. It was incredible. I put the same websites into both browsers- and tried to use ones that wouldn't be in the cache or history- and then clicked Go at the same time.

The 5 was on the new site while the 4S was still figuring out that it was told to go to a new url.

Really can't wait to get mine!

was the 5 on lte and the 4s on 3g?
 
Good news for those with 9/26 delivery dates. I just received tracking info and it has a delivery date of 9/25. So i guess I will be receiving my phone a day early. It says shipped 9/23 with overnight delivery, so hopefully it comes tommorow.

Mine too.... you would think overnight would get to use on Monday
 
My card was hit saturday morning still no FedEx tracking but I can see the receipt in my Verizon account. Apparently the phone is shipping out of NJ I am in CT so any day now it seems FYI location # D772101
 
i was going to go to a vz retail store to see if they had any in stock but i'm betting they don't, so i'm just going to wait it out
 
I'm in the 9/28 group...still in process...as soon as anyone in the 9/28 gets any updates on shipment please post as soon as possible...

Nothing has changed for me ... still "received and in process" with ship date 9/26. Card not billed yet, either. Where are you located? I see the other two with a 9/26 ship date are in the Northeast. I'm on the California Central Coast.
 
I'm 9/28 and my status now says its supposed to ship by 9/21...

I have pending charges on my card as well. I'm guessing the info is incorrect since I don't have a tracking number and 9/21 seems too early for it to ship. I would probably have it by Tuesday if that was the case. I'll update if anything changes.

9/21 was two days ago - Friday, Launch Day. Are you sure that's the date you mean?

Well, if you have been charged for the phone already, you will likely get it tomorrow or Tuesday (my guess). In earlier posts in this thread, that's been the pattern - the charge gets posted to the CC as the phone goes out to the carrier. I wish you luck.

My Card hasn't been charged yet. It's just got pending charges. I'll check it again tomorrow and post any changes.
 
3 different ship dates?
1 says shipped 9/22- verizon preorder page link
the other says will ship 9/24-verizon link posted on this site
and the fed ex site says shipped 9/23 WTF.
 
Anyone preorder on the 15th and have any progress? Mine still says 10/5 delivery. No charges or progress beyond transaction processing. Preordered a black 64gb.

Yep. FedEx is the ultimate accurate word as far as delivery goes. The pending CC charges will be processed shortly. I'm jealous! I have 9/26 and absolutely no changes in status other than the same "received and processing" with blank carrier and shipping number. I worry that the ship date will slip. Be glad when this waiting is over. My tiny local mini-Vz store sold out by noon Friday. Rural life offers few alternatives.

PS - keep an eye on the tracking progress. If it shipped today overnight, it might be there tomorrow ... and someone needs to sign for it.
