Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I got my confirmation email for my purchases at 12:40 CST so hopefully I get mine soon too. So far no tracking or anything!

I'm still showing ship date at 9/28 and order is still in process.....i ordered mine at 2 pm eastern time on 9/14...cc has not been charged either...starting to get aggervated

Around 1 pm today, I checked Vz's tracking and discovered IT (FINALLY) HAD CHANGED from "Received your order and sent it for processing" to "Your order sent for Processing" with blank spots for "Expected Shipping Date", "Tracking number", and "Courier".

Checked the other Vz tracking (the one linked from the receipt) and it, too, had changed. Had a box with the order number in place and a "+" within a circle in the tracking number box. Clicked that and got an expanded box with blank spaces by "Courier" and "Ship Date" and a "Ship by 9/26" in the slot by "Status". The 9/26 ship date is the same as the "receive by" on the receipt.

Checked my CC and Lo! There was the charge from Vz in the "pendings".

Ordered via phone to Vz about 6:30 a.m. the 14th. Looking good!! :D:D

My original ship date was 9/28. I heard that the date they give you on the Order Status on Verizon is actually the latest date you'll receive it, but who knows.

This is exactly what mine showed until I got the tracking emails. It's now in Memphis and will be delivered tomorrow, Tuesday 9/25 by 3PM CST. I ordered mine on the 14th around 1230 CST in-store.
 
I have the typical "We have received your order and it is in process"

I honestly thought I would have received it much sooner, but I guess not.

It is fine, I am certain I will receive it next week.
 
Just checked mine and I have a pending charge for the amount of two iPhones with Chase and my status changed to "Your order has been sent for processing." Looks like I'm getting close.

FWIW, I ordered mine around 4 p.m. on the 14th and have a delivered by/shipped by date of 9/28. Will post as soon as I get tracking information, which I assume will be by tomorrow. Hoping to get them Wednesday.

I ordered mine via the verizon web site at 1145 am on the 15th, got an email within a few minutes with a delivery date of October 5th. When I go to the verizon web site to check on order it still say October 5th. CC has not been charged yet.

I ordered mine at sunday around 9:45 PM EST. Looking at how far behind they are i'm starting to think I won't get it october 5th. I really hope I'm wrong.

I have never had a problem with Verizon being late on a pre order. However, there could always be a first time! What was really odd, is on the 14th i ordered on Apple site and their delivery date was october 11 to the 16th. A day later I ordered on the Verizon site and got October 5th date. So I cancelled the Apple order.

Not sure why you think that when Sept. 26 people and Sept. 28 people are getting delivery estimates sooner than that. I think, if anything, you'll at least get it on that date, but you can probably expect to get it sooner.
 
A little tip for those of you who used an upgrade on a different line to buy your phone.

Don't call verizon unless you HAVE to. They caused me nothing but trouble. Go to vzw.com and activate/switch directly through your account without turning the phone on. VZW reps are very confused about the 4G process and I got so many different answers from so many different reps. I was finally able to activate my phone on my own today eventhough several reps told me my sim was broken and I would need a new sim card.

Hope this helps someone not go through the aggravation I went through!
 
I finally got my tracking information this morning around 11am. It is showing overnight shipping to Philly with a delivery date of tomorrow by 3PM.
 
Call Verizon!

For everyone that knows that they should be receiving their iPhones any day now but haven't seen any tracking number, CALL VERIZON CONSUMER SALES! They are INCREDIBLY helpful and can give you your tracking number. I kept seeing it blank as well as everyone, but I called this morning and got the tracking number. Mine is already on it's way and will arrive tomorrow by 3PM and I had originally been told i would receive it by 9/26, but then the ship date changed and stayed fixed to 9/24.

Yea my sister did this tonight for us, since I have received no emails and reference numbers do not work. Finally got some news today since I order around 9/14 11:30am EST that they are shipped and arriving Wednesday!!!:D
 
Has anybody that ordered on 9/15 with a 10/05 ship date seen any action? I'm still getting the "We received your order and it is in process" Iv tried both order status checking links and tried tracking by reference on UPS and FEDEX. I pre ordered at a Verizon store and paid cash. I have not paid the taxes on the phone though they said the phone would be delivered to the store and that I would pay the taxes when I pick up my phone once it has arrived... :/
